    Yes raw footage.
    You can do them similar to DeerMeatForDinner channel...when he cleans deer, gator,, or hog he basically just adds the raw footage as a 2nd link for us to choose within his description area. Then for those of us who want to see it can individually choose.
    And you don't have to worry about RUclips blocking your video due to blood & guts.
    By the way AWESOME channel, GREAT content.

    I really liked the video. Honestly it seems easier to anchor the boat and hunt the incomers and the downright curious fish. Great experience talking when you went between the anchor line and the boat. These fish are capable of getting wrapped up in anything that is in the water. It's always nice to see the fruit's of our labor and enjoy doing the things you do to make it happen. Not sure if you take many requests for the channel but I'd enjoy some of the wreck diving for lobster,crabs and fish. Maybe exploring some other areas up the Keys. Lots of fun seeing the difference species of fish and identify them with us. Thanks for the great content and best wishes to the young lady you were teaching/ mentoring. As always stay safe!

    That looked like a blast! It may be worth mentioning to new boaters that for the escape plan, don’t pull the anchor all the way up from the bottom. Have a buoy tied to the anchor line so you can quickly untie from the cleat and leave. The anchor, line, and buoy will remain in place. Nobody got the “Jaws” reference?

    So we anchor 99% of the time and we have the anchor set up so we can drop it. We attach a boat bumper to it. If a fish runs we ca quickly drop the anchor chase the fish come back and grab the anchor and re attach. Saves a ton of time both ways.

    Perhaps a Minnkota bowmount deployed in spot lock would eliminate the anchor rope. Saltwater versions are available, and with 72” shaft, will keep the prop in the water. The digital Bluetooth GPS-operated spot lock function is amazing. Very reliable, easy to use, well engineered and built. Good luck.

    When I first started fishing in the Gulf quite often a dive boat would anchor on the same [public] wreck. We would pick up and find another spot. There was no point in staying because they would be right under the boat. They weren't free diving. I always thought that was inconsiderate.

    Another great video, Aaron 👏🏻👏🏻 So glad those predators 🦈 swam away! I would watch anything you put out for content so, raw footage it is! How far away should that other boat have been; did they respond to you?

    I like how a diver puts up a flag and then they own the ocean. I have been on a spot many a time anchored and up pulls a diver, up with the flags less than 100' from me and expects me to leave.

    • @KeyWestWaterman
      @KeyWestWaterman  Год назад +1

      that's great but thats irrelevant to what happened here lol. I can't speak for those divers, as I am not them. I was on anchor and this fishing boat came up to me after being anchored for an hour. should probably talk with the divers doing this to you.

    Speaking of boats close to dive flags, i swim out 3/4-1 mile off the beach to spearfish in Ft. Lauderdale area and I have a bright yellow body board with a big dive flag and i constantly have boats come full speed 50ft from my dive float and some less than 20ft. It’s insane how clueless some boaters are. I never though I would be more worried about boaters than sharks when I started this sport.

      yea it really sucks. theres very little education required to drive a boat. it blows my mind.
