Really wish Freddie would get more opportunities. Both as an actor and a wrestling personality

    • @paladynius

Freddie was the ultimate 90's early 2000's actor.
Problem is, Hollywood is a bunch of commie scumbags, drug addicts, sex abusers, and/or psychopaths, and 90% have 8th grade intelligence.. just look at Twitter.
He's not those things. His wife isn't.
Notice the ones who no longer bother to be on screen in the past 15 years.
It's not drugs, sex abuse, physical violence, psychotic breakdowns that keeps them from being hired.
It's a choice for a lot of em.
He and his wife made that choice. And pretty much walked away.
Why do u think Kristen Bell got that run?
      SMG said no.

If he wanted to act am sure he would, same with his wife. Read some of their interviews over the years. They've chosen their roles, have a prodcution company and they have side businesses. This all to raise their kids in a 'normal' manner. Granted I dont think he is as high demand.

    • @BigDaddyCola

Both he and SMG have decided they'd rather be parents and financially they can afford it so good for them. They worked hard and made they're money before they had kids. They do some stuff like the Scooby Doo stuff but they have the luxury to say no to stuff.

He has this incredible ability to get the fans to care about any face that he's going against more then they did before they feuded with him and after they feuded with him. I mean look at Brian Pillman Jr and Wheeler Yuta. People cheered so much for them when they feuded with MJF

Agree on almost everything Freddie said. Although I think Sami Zayn is the most brilliant performer in wrestling at the moment. He got involved in the Bloodline angle and made it fresh again.
Scrums are dumb AF, especially having the wrestlers take questions and have Tony do a mediocre Dana White impersonation. They would be better if they were used to further storylines and feuds like New Japan does with their backstage promos.

Guys like Chris Jericho, CM Punk, Eddie Kingston, John Cena, The Miz, those guys needed decades under their belt before they became legends on the stick.
MJF is freakin' twenty goddamn six years old. Most people at twenty-six can barely ask someone out without tripping on their own tongues, much less lead an entire entertainment company. The only guy I can honestly think of with this level of genius is Orson Welles, who became a legend at age 25.

    • @mco5634
      @mco5634 Год назад +1

Jericho was this popular back then and his commentary was just as good. When he came to WWF, he was ablet ot break out, whereas in WCW, the 'old guard' was keepin new wrestlers down. MJF has it easier as AEW understands it is about the character. Jericho has stated he had some control over his characters, more it seems than most. But yes on all those other names.

Scrums could be awesome. They need to do their version of a NJPW scrum. Meaning it's all kayfabe. If everyone is in character and the media is all in an understanding that it's kayfabe questions only, it could be vital to character building. It just needs to be treated like that. That's what NJPW scrums were like. They were vital for building certain characters.

  • @enougheric

I agree however it's very strange to see your number one champion title holder talk about how he's using it to leave your company for the competition. Basically burying your company out front. At 26 Maxwell will definitely main event a Wrestlemania before the end of his career, so why on earth would Tony Khan allow this storyline to turn AEW into a pseudo WWE developmental?
