    Freddie worked as a writer in wwe during what is many fans' favourite moments of the last 15 years. Shawn vs Taker the build to the Mania rematch, and the CM Punk stuff the following year in 2011. That's a feather in his cap for sure

    This is awesome! I could never understand why Freddie left the WWE, but this really puts it in perspective. I've always had a dream of wanting to work for the WWE. I've applied countless times, sometimes for jobs I'm not even qualified for, because I believe in the company and love what they do and just want to be part of it. But that "trying to win father of the year" comment really puts it in perspective. Wow!

    Great interview. Freddie is really charismatic and cool. Also, incredibly smart taking the stock options instead of salary. Looking where WWE stock was in 2009 vs when he probably sold? PHEWWWWWWWWWW.

    The Bella Twins said that Freddie came up with Twin Magic and their introduction to the WWE world where they were under the mat. Here the world has no idea Freddie’s creative genius.

      It’s about writer who came from New York Post and before getting fired got Vince to put him in charge of WWE Films. Then recycled his old scripts and sold them to WWE for 5 million a script. He goes in to more detail in a different interview

    I am still mad the Freddie only got one season on ABC. His show was WAY better than the George Lopez show, which was basically stereotypes and low hanging jokes for 30 minutes. I've loved Freddie for years. He's one of those people that I could hang out with and nerd out about a million different things.

    Vince is like Julius Caesar. both of their genius and ambition destroyed the old republic, created a great dynasty and will forever be talked about, but their transition period in particular was the golden age, to the eventual fall.

    WWE selling stock was because they were trying to gain more capital for XFL etc. HHH selling stock was so he could shift his money into NXT - which is growing day by day in markets worldwide. Once CO(N)VID 19 is sorted then NXT will be fully going global - & I've been with them since the start. Future's so bright....gotta wear shades Bro. Shit, even 205's picked up since the NXT union - & now Dusty Classic is both male & female - with both showing out. Thoughts Chris? - Dave from Australia.

    I have to disagree with Freddie, Vince never cared about wrestling, he only cares about entertainment. That's why the wrestling is secondary to entertainment in that company. Until the old man is put in a home, the company will never get better.
