Just an update: 2024-05-26 She ended up being a narcissist, when I wrote this I was being loved bombed (entrained) I am now seing a psychologist and somatic practioner to heal from being brainwashed. I don't think the romantic type of love is special, and I think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other. I think humans should just ditch concepts like dating, marriage, and pair bonding. I feel like this world would be a much better place without romance than it is with it. In my opinion, romantic love should not be on the highest pedestal. In my opinion, parents and siblings' family love is the strongest. Family knows who you are. Romance is fake for lots of people, put on a false persona and romance on most parts gets ugly real fast. For the reality of romance is no Disney love story. Parents and siblings' family love is one of the strongest types of love there is. If romantic love is actually real, it would be one of the weakest types of love there is.

I try to be understanding and give him time while doing other things and doing my usual hobbies, but I just can’t shake off the pain of missing him and longing to be with him. He doesn’t know I cry myself to sleep every night wishing he was right next to me. He doesn’t know how lonely and empty I feel when we have to hang up because he has something to do while I’m waiting for the next day to come so I can hear his voice again. Or when our conversation become boring and short, I can tell he’s not there, but I just love spending time with him. LDR is so hard, I didn’t know how hard it could be until I’m in one.

I feel this so much right now. It’s 11pm and im in bed. We usually do phone calls at night and sleep on the phone together, but his guardians have gotten so strict with bedtimes that now he’s gotten his phone taken away at night. (We’re both 17, turning 18 in about 3 months) I’m sobbing. It’s so hard for me to sleep without him and not talk to him about how his day was. distance rly does mean nothing if they mean everything to you and i am so grateful that we the ability to call eachother and video chat but he’s starting to talk to me less and less he barely calls once a week and i feel so disconnected all i want is him but i think he’s getting over me he can’t even make the time to have these serious conversations about how these things make me feel he just like stopped trying completely..

We really do love each other and I feel like trust is so so much more important even in these moments..
Thankfully we both did decide to call on a regular basis and what’s even more lovely during that time is that we value this moment even if it’s just a call or face time.
And we do hate hanging up both so I am really blessed to have my partner who’s even waiting for me in the middle of the night because of our time difference and talk each other to sleep

But makes me hapoy knowking that some couples made it after 2 o 3 years and they are together right now for real, that is pretty awesome ❤

I never knew love before i met my boyfriend, and now we have to be in a LDR. This is the most difficult thing rn.. i just miss him so much. Went to see him after 3 months, spent a week with him and cried all my way back to my place. I don’t know when i will get to see him again… i miss him so much.

oh my gosh same, I’m in the first days of getting used to being long distance after having lived together and him moving abroad to study. I never want to hang up, it is made a bit easier by the fact we have to leave as one of us needs to sleep, but I miss sleeping next to him
