      Well, it has zero worth for the regular simracer because this isn't for regular simracers. This a turnkey solution with a maintenance plan attached for arcades, tradeshows, anyone that wants to monitise a space, or rich people that want a simrig to color match their car. While for simracers this would sound alien, the price tag is well within of similar solutions of the same style.
      It's something that in simracing we don't talk a lot because the target group is exceedingly small.

      I’d have a look at something Motionsimulation out of uk. I moved from 80/20 to their rig, put that on-top of a symdeck and you have more functionality and a cost but much less than this.

    Complete waste of money, doesn't even have all the axis 😂 you could build something for much less and have everything with triple monitors that move with the rig. As in real life my windshield moves along with the car, be weird as my face keeps going closer and further from the screen since it's fixed.

    The sim rig of our distant dreams is one that you can just buy all-in-one, sent anywhere in the world you want it to be, and everyone who sees it would think it's a freakin' sexy car. Something only the executives can afford to have and certainly would look damn good on camera to promote motorsports.

    I can't wait until imsim grows enough to justify a try for mass market production, would love to add some gear of Portuguese construction at a price appropriate for Portuguese wallets.
    Either way, 100k is certainly only for businesses or the ultra rich, but it does remind me of the concept behind the coffee table rig: a piece of sim gear that doesnt look stolen from an industrial setting. (Ironic given what ImSim's parent company focuses on)

      The input lag you can see in the video is way too much

    • @Leynad778
      @Leynad778 8 месяцев назад

      @@d.o.5238 They all should have no visible input lag you can see on all triple screen setups and with the ancient display Random Callsign is using. With faster I mean Hz, but even more important: Pixel response time. This display has 4 ms which looks like the framerates are lower at high speed compare to 1 ms even if both run on 120 Hz. I have my 3rd Samsung 49" and went from 1 ms 1080p to 4 ms 1440p to 1 ms 1440p. Took me a month getting accustomed to the less smooth picture of the 4 ms. If you see a wheel lag, it must be over 40 ms lag, because below it's not noticeable.

      @@d.o.5238 I see it and it's gross, but that's not on the RG94 because no lag with mine. Maybe they are running vSync or they've added the lag deliberately in the Nvidia Control Panel so it's more in sync with the lagging Dbox motion😄
