I just got my first two free tunes for my 14 V6 I bought last year. Went with 87 and 93 but they gave me 93 race, I did not request it but it seems fine. The soft throttle , quick low shift points and 2800rpm dead spot are all gone now. Still can't squawk the tires (2.73 rear) but that will change to 3.73 . After this tank will try the 87 and see what the difference is. So far really happy.
I will need to do a egr delete on my 2000 mustang v6 3.8L, will I be able to run it with a custom tune without any problem aside of the check engine light?
I used it on my '07 and it brought out quite a bit of noticeable power. Especially if you have a CAI and an exhaust on there. Noticeable sound increase with those mods, as well. Also helped my gas mileage.

upgrade your driveshaft before removing the speed limiter or you risk blowing it up
This guy either upgraded his driveshaft or found out that you need to the hard way

I believe they can remove the speed limiter, if you specify it in the tune, when you email Bama.
