all wrong!!!! Mauser replaced China on guitar , and here is his probably first VADER gig Shambo is here playing bass. He replaced Jackie in 1994. @@ashwilliams4989
@@ashwilliams4989Bull shit - Shambo played BASS in Vader from 1993 to 2001, when he was replaced by Berial from another cult death metal band Betrayer! And Mauser replaced China on GUITAR in 1997 (previously he was the bassist in the legendary Christ Agony and the founding guitarist of Dies Irae)!!!
late 90s to mid 00s was when a lot of hard work from oldschool death metal bands was finally paying off and the crowds were pretty intense and enthusiastic. Would be nice to have that feeling back instead of people watching their phones and acting bored. Look up almost any newer live footage and the crowd looks dead. I think I didn't appreciate this time period as much as I should have.
Morbid Angel/Revocation/Skeletal/Crypta was pretty lively, my middle-aged ass actually had to step away from the cauldron. A lot of youngins getting into it, nice to see. Smaller venues helps, I think.
WHERE IS THE SETLIST?

Doc is sadly missed. What a drummer, saw them in 1997 on tour with morbid angel. Docs drumming was out of this world.
Playing the LIVE IN JAPAN album tonight. What makes it sadder about Doc’s passing is that it didn’t have to happen😞
Doc the master of drums.
No one could blast like Doc. He was certainly the best imo at the time…
