I don't understand why people would bleach ALL of their hair if they don't know what they are doing or how their hair and scalp will react. I recently bleached my hair ends to dye them red and it came out wonderful, but because I had friend do it for me that's been bleaching and coloring her hair for years and knows what she's doing. She uses good quality products and even recommended me to not do it in all my hair because you never know if you're allergic or anything to these things. Never risk your whole hair! I had a bad bleach job once. The thing that saved it was oils, and especially Keratin products such as Redken Antisnap and Cat, and then coconut oil shampoo and coconut conditioner. That was 5 years ago and now my hair touches my non existent butt 🤣♥️
Something you should do, maybe, is a video on the consequences of the different mistakes people do when bleaching hair at home (in addition to the video on how to do it properly). Like "if you start with the root, you will end up with this result", "if you apply it messy like a shampoo, you will have that result", etc. This could be even more pedagogic.
Wow... A huge thank you for all your tips on bleaching blond hair. I have blonde hair & im extremely careful when it comes to doing my roots. I set a timer on my phone & section my hair. I watched a lot of hair fails to learn & understand how things can go wrong when it comes to your hair. So thank you for you channel, it’s extremely helpful 👍🏻😃
That girl scrubbing and scratching that bleach in her scalp made me uncomfortable because bleach burns and scratching will only make it worse. Why was she so reckless!? Then the way she put the purple shampoo in! 😳🤦🏾♀️
I can’t feel that bad for the woman that wanted “a root touch up” bc she added it to her lengths for 40 min 30 vol with FOILS. Girl, you did that yourself..you knew better than that.
I don't think so. She couldn't book an appointment with a hairdresser and was stressed out about her soon to come event. People whom are used to bleach their hair at home, won't call an hair salon, after another, after another, ... She has done a few search on RUclips and believe she could of done it herself.
@@oceaneo4603that’s the worst reason to bleach your hair yourself. She should have planned her photo shoot better and made her bleach appointment in advance. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
I don’t feel bad for her. Why didn’t she make her hair appointment in advance since she knew she had a photo shoot coming up? I guess people who have never done DIY hair don’t realize how easily things can go terribly wrong if you don’t have enough knowledge about the principles of hair bleaching and coloring.
@Océaneo 460 Everything you mentioned is completely irrelevant and sounds like you're trying to coddle her. The point is she wanted a _ROOT_ touch-up. Even if she watched a RUclips video, why is she touching her ends at all? You're simply bleaching the roots; you're bleaching the parts that aren't blonde anymore. Stress doesn't make you forget that you're only touching your roots.
@@The_Celestial_Fox Common sens isn't as common as you think it is. At the end of the day, do you really thinks she wanted to fry her hair up ? Common sens, isn't it ?

I learned: A. Just touch up the roots. B. 40 minutes 30 volume NO! C. Don't touch, pull our comb!! D. Do nothing but treatment hair masks for a few days, maybe longer! E. Leave the length alone😆😆😆 F. Watch Hair Buddah for the right way to color & cut your hair! 😄
I'm glad you finally made a bleach at home the proper way video Hair Budda, but will they watch it and follow your teachings? I hope so. I went from black box dye to platinum, but I did it slowly over a year and a half a little at a time with at least 8 weeks in between and used ola- plex during and after every time. Now it's just upkeep and I never overlap onto the blonde I only touch up the roots and only leave it on for 15 minutes at most. I feel so bad for some of these people, but they don't do the research or follow videos where the person doesn't know what they are doing. Please people watch and listen to Hair Budda, not an influencer or til tok er .
Why do people literally watch videos like this and then think that by watching a how to video they will successfully bleach their hair at home...why not go to a professional if you want a color done well and right
Don’t pull your hair ladies! It’s falling out, and pulling and combing will just make it worse😢 Once again, the Hair Buddha has had to remind the human population that toners are NOT magical! Sad parts, still have chuckle ones, and this was indeed a good video like always!😂
I hope everyone has gotten over their hair trauma. 🙏 She's not a professional hairdresser. Thank goodness she tells us that. I find it a little dangerous how naively they handle chemicals there. And it's really brave to share it online.
Leg razor layering was kind of a trend for DIY emo girls, at least at my school. Some of my friends who weren’t emo picked up on it & they made it work at the time 🤷🏽♀️
I try so hard not to judge, because THANK GOD I have curly hair! 3 years ago I accidentally caught my hair on fire (chunks of it!) while I was in a big soaker bathtub from a candle. It took me a good 15 seconds to realize what the hot things that were dripping on my shoulders were. They were my burning hair. After dunking my head in the water, and for the past 3 years, I have never found where the chunks of burning hair came from on my head! Lol but if I had straighter hair, I wouldn’t have cut it myself after like age 15.
I had to pause the video around the 18:00 mark. I just had to hold my head and shake it 😩 I just couldn't process anymore. All these people messed up their hair soooooo badly, to the point where you see when their despair sets in. Wow
Maybe you should set up an emergency wig delivery company that can deliver worldwide within 24 hours so that people who've wrecked their hair can get emergency hair.
I love your accent. Is it Dutch? I love how when you say "my name is Hair Buddha", I hear, "my name is Herr Buddha" ...hahaha. I have terrible thin hair and am so envious of all the beautiful hair, but it's so compelling to watch. ty!
In the past I did the same mistake to dye the lenghts and not just the roots. My hair was someday very done from the bleaching. After that I let the bleached hair growing out (my luck was, that the regrowth didn't look like a block xD) and now it is healthy after I let the dead Hair cut off peu a peu. Now I let only my hairdresser colouring my hair. With your Videos I learn alot and which mistakes I did in the past. Should I ever dye my hair alone again, I will Stick to your advices! Thanks for your hard work :3
I learnt something valuable from this video You can’t bleach the already bleached lengths ! I remember dying my already dyed lengths and adding some bleach too, my hair was falling out and I was kinda wonder why, now I see Thanks
So I'm not the only one who loves how you say "TikTok." It's not something I can explain, why I like it or how you actually say it. You just say it as you say it. It just sounds cool when you say it. :D
She had such an interesting look to begin with...then to add such a bright color that didn't go with her skin tone....it all seemed like an enormous fail honestly.
As a hairdresser a few recurrent mistakes I see in this videos : They always use 30vol or 40vol! Unless your hair is really thick, dark and coarse you really don’t need to be using a product that is that strong. The other one is they just set a timer and call it good. When I’m using bleach in a clients hair I never just set a timer and walk off. You need to check the hair periodically to make sure it is not overprocessing and that it’s light enough ! So often they just wash off the product after half an hour and then they are shocked that it’s still orange and then they proceed to do the same process 3, 4, 5 times. You don’t need to do that ! So long as your hair is still intact, not turning stretchy and is still feeling good you don’t need to rinse the bleach off just because it’s been half an hour or 45 minutes ! You can reapply and let it keep lightening !
I'm a natural level 4 who is now platinum and have a nice amount of curly and a licensed cosmetologist. My stylist/colorist doesn't even use 30 on me. We agreed 20 and lightener is great. If we need to go again we go again.
I've done same thing, but I didn't comb or pull my hair I stayed in shower and put a hair mask on my hair and left in for 15 min, rinsed and pat dry to get excess water off n combed it from bottom up an let it dry,my hair didn't fall out and very little breakage
I felt so sorry for the girl at the beginning. The first time I bleached my hair I ended up looking like Cilla Black! I managed to correct that disaster thanks to a friend. Even though my natural brown hair wasn't particularly dark brown I always had to leave the bleach on for a LONG time! Thankfully I never had any mishaps and it never fell out either. So I'm really glad I never had any experiences like theirs. I guess it helped that I did the Deborah Harry look and left a few brown patches in it. Sadly I've started losing my hair now so shave it. I really miss being a peroxide blonde bombsite!
Hello hello Buddha I tried not laugh at our sisters but they were just doing a bad job. Thousands of sisters and brothers are probably getting ready to see your steps to coloring your hair. Thank you for your videos and stay safe my friend.👍❤️👍❤️👍❤️
I can't understand why they are always pulling and rough combing the hair, wet of course!, and then wondering, why its breaking off in strands. They're old enough to watch RUclips but not old enough to find out what to do in such situations to avoid completely breaking off the whole head of hair. It's always the same mistake. That's frustrating. It could be so easy. 🤔😑🤯
This distresses me so badly. Never ever comb or brush your bleached hair. The hair has been through a lot and its really flexible, it will snap and fall off. Jesus don't brush it. Stop. Please.
Yeah, and I don’t understand that they buy bleach, and toner, and developer, purple shampoo, etc. but they don’t bother buying treatments and masks for their hair. Even if it’s not a fail, you want to give your hair a chance here. Any processing is affecting your hair.
Like the first girl, i used the same bleach before for my dark roots(i have fine asian hair) and it completely melted my hair off.it was on for about 30 mins,(when i started to washing out) and applied 5 mins to the ends. I never experienced any fall out with powder lightner before so i was shocked when this lightener melted all my hair off in 30 mins. So this lightner itself is really strong
Hy ,New here, really enjoying the videos. Had my own share of bleach fails the last one costing me 30 cm of length in my hair....but in the end I fall inlove with my short hair and the red I used to put pigment back in my hair...happy redhead today one year later giving myself the time to learn from people like you how to take care of my hair...so thank you for your hard work. I've learned a lot watching your videos.

Even given this fact, i watch a video of yours EVERY time I end up on RUclips. It broke off eventually in one spot so I just cut the rest. I didn’t know about like protein treatments. It took so much abuse before it broke. And you say blond me is more expensive than quick blue. Yes but not much it’s still very very affordable. Never quick blue agin!! I had to cut my hair to like three inches and now it’s back down to the middle of my back. Still platinum but I am so nice and I take vitamins religiously. I never hot iron only blow dry once in a blue moon, sometimes a loose bun or braids but never tight and pulling.
Amazing videos Buddha. Greetings from Argentina.
True ♥️
I had a bad bleach job once. The thing that saved it was oils, and especially Keratin products such as Redken Antisnap and Cat, and then coconut oil shampoo and coconut conditioner. That was 5 years ago and now my hair touches my non existent butt 🤣♥️
Love the suspenders and I love how u say tiktok. It's like u pause before saying it. Then u say tiktok really fast. We love it
'I'm not a professional' Clearly!! 😂😂😂
These poor girls bless em these lot wow lol....hair Buddha u are hillarious I laff my ass off at how u say stuff lol
"Bleach is NOT shampoo" Brad Mondo and Hair Buddha
right after he said that I was thinking "BLEACH DOESN'T LATHER"
@@AccidentallyOnPurpose same 😂
The very first clip "it came out very bad and I'm about to go cry in my room" 😂😂
Yes !! This is exactly what i needed thank you. After a long day with my son this is the perfectt keep up the reactions please ❤ i love them
Thank you 🙏
Subscribed, just to listen to that adorable accent, and the funny stuff and your reactions to them
Your reaction to the blue and green haired girl was freaking golden. “What do I say about that? Uh nothing I guess” “it’s a look 😒” hahaha
That girl scrubbing and scratching that bleach in her scalp made me uncomfortable because bleach burns and scratching will only make it worse. Why was she so reckless!? Then the way she put the purple shampoo in! 😳🤦🏾♀️
The first lady should stop pulling her hair
XXkeroscastleXX she needs to shave it. Ouch. Poor thing
Yeah
at this point I'm second guessing her right to have hair at all 😅
I mean... she's a hairhead anyway...
I don’t understand why when people don’t take their time to do it right they expect it to turn out amazing. I’m so confused by this .
Random but felt inclined to say, you are so handsome!!! Keep up the great work, love from Australia 💕
Hello hair-buddha nice to meet you
I found your channel & im addicted..I love how honest you are and knowledgeable. Ive only been to a salon a handful of times over my life but i would be to to scared to dye my hair countless times but anyway Great channel!!!
I love all your hair tips. They are so helpful. I will never bleach my at home. I love your videos. ❤️
Oh my goodness; I have been binging on all of your videos on your channel. I love your commentary and I also love the way you say “TikTok “ 😊😊
I learned:
A. Just touch up the roots.
B. 40 minutes 30 volume NO!
C. Don't touch, pull our comb!!
D. Do nothing but treatment hair masks for a few days, maybe longer!
E. Leave the length alone😆😆😆
F. Watch Hair Buddah for the right way to color & cut your hair! 😄
I absolutely adore the way you say Tiktok, it's so nice with your accent and just tickles my brain in the happiest way possible 🥰
🙏 THX
Why do people literally watch videos like this and then think that by watching a how to video they will successfully bleach their hair at home...why not go to a professional if you want a color done well and right
Once your hair gets really stretchy and starts falling out after bleaching is there any saving it? Or is your only option to cut it all off?
If it is bad, you have to cut a big piece off, but you can save a lot. Put many treatments on your hair, re-bond your hair.
ACETONE???????!!!!!
Don’t pull your hair ladies! It’s falling out, and pulling and combing will just make it worse😢
Once again, the Hair Buddha has had to remind the human population that toners are NOT magical!
Sad parts, still have chuckle ones, and this was indeed a good video like always!😂
Thank you 🙏
Well what the hell do you do then. Itll fall of when its dry too
If it is damaged it's gonna fall off anyway. I don't understand what's the difference whether you pull it or not..
@@ChrissieL Exactly what I thought!!! Everyone says to not pull on it... why?? Does it change anything?
I hope everyone has gotten over their hair trauma. 🙏 She's not a professional hairdresser. Thank goodness she tells us that. I find it a little dangerous how naively they handle chemicals there. And it's really brave to share it online.
Leg razor layering was kind of a trend for DIY emo girls, at least at my school. Some of my friends who weren’t emo picked up on it & they made it work at the time 🤷🏽♀️
Emo and bad hair pretty much go hand in hand, right? If you weren’t sullen and depressed before, you are going to be VERY soon…
Wow
I don’t watch the reactions, I watch it for you’re reactions, IM NOT BEING MEAN, But I love you’re vids and I’m one of ur biggest fans xx
THX ♥️
LMAOOOOO. Should I put color on my hair? "YEAH, over your face also"
LMAOOOOO I'm dead! 😂🤣😂😁😂😂😂😁
I love how someone using a razor on their hair feels the need to say they're not a professional and don't know what they're doing 😂
BAHAHAHAHA THE “I don’t have any hair..🥺” KILLED ME-
I could listen to a whole video of you saying “TikTok”!! Love you Hair Buddha!!
This is why everyone should invest in the "Emergency Wig".
True
Thank you Hair Buddha mu hair turned out great because of your kindness in sharing your skill.
I have terrible thin hair and am so envious of all the beautiful hair, but it's so compelling to watch. ty!
All these bleach fails are the reason I tip my hairdresser so well 😊
Very good....
Thanks for your hard work :3
Just stick to professionals
I learnt something valuable from this video
You can’t bleach the already bleached lengths !
I remember dying my already dyed lengths and adding some bleach too, my hair was falling out and I was kinda wonder why, now I see
Thanks
So I'm not the only one who loves how you say "TikTok." It's not something I can explain, why I like it or how you actually say it. You just say it as you say it. It just sounds cool when you say it. :D
The second girl just went from bad to worse.
🤣
She scares me
She had such an interesting look to begin with...then to add such a bright color that didn't go with her skin tone....it all seemed like an enormous fail honestly.
Not trying to be mean , but she gave me Chucky vibes after she bleached her hair !
It’s the no eyebrows for me.
I love how hair buddha adds a "s" on to the end of his words... it's adorable. "30 volumes" "lengths" ...
As a hairdresser a few recurrent mistakes I see in this videos :
They always use 30vol or 40vol!
That is so true
I'm a natural level 4 who is now platinum and have a nice amount of curly and a licensed cosmetologist. My stylist/colorist doesn't even use 30 on me. We agreed 20 and lightener is great. If we need to go again we go again.
“It’s a look.” 😂 💀
"i dont wanna brush it, i dont wanna dry it" but i will constantly keep on pulling the hair thats hanging barely there
I've done same thing, but I didn't comb or pull my hair I stayed in shower and put a hair mask on my hair and left in for 15 min, rinsed and pat dry to get excess water off n combed it from bottom up an let it dry,my hair didn't fall out and very little breakage
Argh. When people rub bleach into their hair it makes my scalp feel itchy 😣
Yeah, it always hurts my soul
♥️
These are hilarious, what were they thinking!
Yeah, especially nowadays are so many proffesional safe bleaching products, or plexes
I'm shocked too
This distresses me so badly.
"dont pull it" take a shot everytime he says it.. you'll be drunk by the time the first girl is over. Lol
I know this comment is 6 months ago but I have to ask. U didn't think to do a test strand? To see how your hair would take it.
If you want a root touch up, just do the roots! Quite a simple concept.
You are so entertaining and cute..I love your videos, your reactions are priceless and I love the way you say Tic Tok!!!! I am OBSESSED!!
2:04 that’s exactly what happened to me. Over processed hair. It fell out. I cried. Now I have platinum blond short hair. It looks cool and it’s already growing back so no worry.
16:23🤦🏼♀️ oh no. It’ll look terrible.
I like your attitude! You are good person:)! Cheers from Italy!!!
I'm totally guilty of dying my hair with box dye like it's "shampoo." While there are times it doesn't work out so well, most the time it works fine.
Same
Same especially if it's black box dye !! 🌚
You have a magnetic personality. I have no interest in unnatural hair, myself.. my preference is "natural" in all areas of aesthetics. Even given this fact, i watch a video of yours EVERY time I end up on RUclips. I find them amusing and I like that even on a "hair fail" video, you are respectful and encouraging more than critical and never hateful even if they are doing something very foolish. You express sorrow for the loss of potentially beautiful hair over any contempt for the person making the mistake. I truly respect that show of your Character 👍 Good man 👍👍
