Yeah, as much as I adore Hadestown, Beetlejuice deserved the set design Tony much more, it's so complex and fantastic and interactive. It's insane how much work went into it.

After listening to the soundtrack 50+ times (no, really) and seeing this, the second the baby comes to Chicago, I’ll be there!
isn’t it lovely that my boyfriend went to new york and watched beetlejuice after knowing nothing about broadway and beetlejuice and here’s me knowing everything about the show. he brought me a cup back from the show so that’s a bonus but when i tell u i cried when i found out i mean i cried.
They Wayne talks about all the passion and thought that went into making these sets and designing them, slowly creating such a magnificent world. The actors often get alot of credit but as an "actor" myself, I do want to say the nothing could be done without anyone of the crew. The stage hands are amazing, helping with props, ques and in the wing costume changes. The sound and lighting, well we couldnt do the show without you guys! The directors are incredible, shaping the show and us as people to achieve their dreams of this show. The set designers who make the world come to life. And the entire orchestra underneath every single broadway or west end theatre stage that get barely any recognition for all of us. The actors too. Everyone deserves so much applause and praise. Well done. And thank you for creating something truly magical.
So the house approaches from the distance, zooming into frame but in reality, and as the walls fill up my peripheral vision I think, “wow, that was a STRONG drink.” 👏🏻🙌🏼 Immersive, hilarious, the most fun show.
I agree that this set is amazing and I adore this musical but also don't talk smack about my hadestown or else I will have to hunt you down, they are both masterpieces and it's a shame they both had to compete against each other

This kind of stuff is fascinating! It makes me want to see a documentary of how different Broadway show sets are designed, and what goes in to making the set and the creative process behind it all.
I loved this show when I went to see it. I also love that the background music in this video is what is playing before the show starts and during intermission.
