- Beware the darkest Hogwarts experience of the 1st year. Unlike other students, Harry gets sent into an abyss of eternal darkness to fetch a few ingredients, encountering gnomes and ghosts on the way.
Why can't they just put the ingredients on some shelf nearby?

"Late again lazy boy"
Well sorry professor i had to fight my way through your Saw trap dungeon to pick up some ingredients.
10:30 Thats the furthest I've ever got in this game. When I was a kid I was so scared of Bloody Baron, so I've never completed this part 😂
I used to love this level when i was a child and when i played Amnesia the dark descent for the first time, this level came to mind immediately.
I never understood why they made the baron hurt you in this game, he's not a malicious ghost, rather a very tragic one, he's pretty kind in nature, true not as much as Nick but he still isn't malicious
Hmm, the tragedy probably strikes Harry's sensitive heart a bit too hard.
if that was the case, the gray lady would hurt us too because she suffered just as much
@@QueenofTaterTots yeah and the grey lady just floats around, and goes right through harry
Well, isn’t he aligned with Slytherin?
@@JediMaster362 Yes, he is
5:01 my god the bloody baron is fucking scary in this game. When i first played as a little kid, i was scared shitless. I can't believe they made the movie version of him terrifying without giving him the chains he's supposed to have
Yes this Bloody Baron gave me nightmares as a kid and I would let my dad play through this every playthrough. I was so damn scared at the part were the baron goes around in circles. Every time the ghost would pass, I would hide behind a corner as I thought it might come after me.
Oh my god now that I think of it, it would be so much worse of they would have programmed the Baron to follow you.
@@joostinatortje would be even worse than that if they gave him his look from the books, cause there even the other ghosts were terrified of him, and he was the only one who could control peeves
@@joostinatortjeYou have to hide behind a corner anyway when The Bloody Baron comes by or else somehow He hurts Harry Potter I don't know how a Ghost is able to do that but as usual fuck logic I guess is what this Game's Programmers were thinking.
Notice that Snape deducting 5 House points from Gryffindor does not have anything to do with the Number of Challenge Stars you collected in the Lumos Challenge, It's the different versions of this PC game, In the Version that says "Philosopher's Stone" which is this one the 5 house points from Gryffindor are NOT deducted. But in the version that says "Sorcerer's Stone" that's the one that Snape takes 5 house points away from Gryffindor.
The 3 points he takes away when Harry returns however is in BOTH versions of the game.
Hope that makes sense!
@THE WA CHANNEL I have the “Sorcerer’s Stone” version, and I did not get the first 5 points deducted after collecting seven Challenge Stars in the Lumos Challenge. However, if you get six Challenge Stars, he does. I feel that it does have something to do with the Lumos Challenge.
@@rendersen22 That's not the case because I found this walkthrough of the "Sorcerer's Stone" version featuring Harry collecting all 7 challenge stars in the Lumos challenge (ruclips.net/video/sd11orBJHfs/видео.html) but still losing 5 house points for being late to Potions (ruclips.net/video/06UVVvnC7Hc/видео.html).
I love the way they move their heads and hands. Imagine this in real life
They had to replace the missing mouth movement somehow lol
its cause its such an old game, the software is so old that the producers didn't have the capability to make their mouths move as they speak, in the 2nd game their mouths move as they talk
God Snape is a dick in this game!
"Fetch the potion ingredients for the class!"
[You return with the ingredients]
"I've ended the lesson without you."
Snape, in every way, you deserve middle fingers worth your toxicity levels
Old comment, but isn't Snape always a dick? 🤨
I guess I never noticed playing this as a kid, but the pacing in this game is really strange. I'm assuming that everything up to and including the first Quidditch occurs on Harry's first day at Hogwarts: everyone is introducing themselves, and there's no breaks that indicate days passing: the professors are always telling you to get to the next lesson, and so on. So the lessons for Flipendo, Alohamora, Wingardium Leviosa, flying, Incendio, the rememberall chase, the fire seed caves, and the first Quidditch match, all happen on day 1. That's already more than half the game right there. But then the Lumos Challenge, Potions lesson, and troll chase are all on day 2 (I assume it's day 2 because Hermione is still congratulating you on the Quidditch match, so I doubt it would be more than a few days after that). But after the potions lesson, Snape says it's the Halloween feast, so that would mean day 2 is also Halloween, making day 1 is October 30th, or at least the week of Halloween. Put it this way: in the book, the scene with the troll happens pretty early on in the story. It's when Ron and Harry become friends with Hermione. In this game, it's one of the last levels: after that it's Norbert, and then you're heading to the dungeons.
You're not supposed to question it
Lmao that makes sense, I’m laughing so hard 😂
@@secretblue0290True just as usual keep Your mind closed and try to follow the Game's story no matter how nonsensical it is I guess is what Video Game Creators want Us to do.
In Chamber of Secrets The Wiggenweld Healing Potion only needs Wiggentree Bark & Flubberworm Mucus
But in this you also need Moly & Dittany
No two students in this class managed to brew the same potion. And only Ron's matches the big potion in the center of the room, which I'm assuming is the potion they're supposed to be brewing. So Ron, of all students, is the one acing Potions today?
Isn't ron supposed to be really shitty at potions
@@secretblue0290Yes He is plot hole.
14:17 Harry Potter is not lazy. Should had sent Malfoy to the dungeons instead.
James Tulloch-kKnight yea 😅
14:16-14:44 You Half-Blood Professor Snape Do You Know What I've Had To Go Through Just To Get Those Potion Ingredients
1:40 Oh Dear Someone It Seems Doesn't Want Harry Potter To Escape The Dungeons
I'd sue the school so hard for having a faulty bridge
Interesting that the Bloody Baron is the only ghost that can actually harm Harry in this game.
I wonder how did Harry survive that fall?
Maybe Snape was slowing his fall.
He has iron for bones
If I remember correctly, Snape takes away fewer points from Gryffindor the faster you complete the 'potions challenge'.
Fromme, he always took three points.
@@danielkoltai1094 He is supposed to take 8 points total. 5 when you arrive to the dungeons and 3 once you return with the ingredients. As shown in this walkthrough, he does not take away the 5 points. I feel that the only way to have this happen is if you collect all the challenge stars from the Lumos challenge.
@@rendersen22 Did it happen to you then? Because I collected all the 7 challenge stars in the Lumos challenge and Snape never took away the first 5 house points from me at the beginning of the potions lesson.
Sekhy Hybrid Yes, it did. I got the first five points deducted when I collected six Challenge Stars for the Lumos Challenge. However, after seeing this walkthrough, I found the seventh Challenge Star and only had the three points deducted after finding all the ingredients. I feel that finding the seventh Challenge Star is the key.
I don't understand how a pit that shallow could kill Harry
And I've always wondered, if not all, stars to collect, what will Snape say? Or will he always have the same words? 0__0
Same words. Did miss 1 star on purpose. (The others are impossible to dodge.) You always lose 3 points by default. Never lost more than that.
Severus Snape not deduct 5 points for being late, only 3 points on the end of exam. How it?
I guess Snape is not a man of his word.
zelgadis115 But he deducted me 5 points :D
Don Martynus Snape secretly cares for the boy.
His mom was the love of his life. 😂
@@Don_Martynus I feel the way you can prevent him from deducting 5 points is if you find all 7 challenge stars in the Lumos Challenge. That is what I did.
Your game must have glitched out because Snape does not take away those five points from Griffindor at the beginning. He does take away the three points at the end though.
Hmm, could be game version difference? This happened to me every time I played the game.
I think what it is, is philospher's stone is the EU version while the NA version is called sorcerer's stone, so it's possible this is why, it was left out of sorcerer's stone for some reason...or is it the other way around...
No, it's the same in the European version. I had that game and Snape also deduct 3 house points only in the end after you finished collecting the Potion ingredients for the lesson.
but he's supposed to deduct 8 all together, 5 in the start and 3 at the end
We can conclude that EA simply forgot to deduct the first 5 house points from Gryffindor.

I will join them you jerk.
I hope you don’t join though……especially with that attitude.
