After the end of the world war two, that Germany and Japan began both nations were occupied. Germany for six years and Japan for seven. Only after radical changes were undertaken to their pre-war militaristic aggressive governments, were they allowed to govern themselves. And the "Palestinean" issue is much worst because it involves a "peace loving religion" and a society that defies logic and teaches their children to hate.
Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. 🙏🇮🇱

      Hello!
      German here,
      i like your statement,
also because there are so much parallels between NSDAP (germans party) and hamas party,
both regimes used children ( in Germany Hitlerjugend) to achieve thier goals. Also if you see „palestinian“ TV , there are so poisoned with NASO Ideology. I hope Israel finally winns and this circle of hate given from generation to generation finally breaks.
Btw, i’m so disgusted from my neighbors, irlands,
norwegen and spain in this moment recognizing „palestine“ ignoring facts. They support simply this cursed circle to go on, or they enjoy this arena like the romans

Also, hundreds of thousands of ethnic Germans were expelled from Russia and Eastern Europe after WWII. Many of them had lived there for generations. We never hear about them now. Why? Because their descendants are all German citizens, not “refugees.” Same with all the Hindus who fled or were expelled from Pakistan, or Muslims who fled or were expelled from India.

@@KathyPrendergast-cu5ci There are Palestinian "refugees," several generations, now, because they are part of the strategy to destroy Israel, always have been and always will be. In 1948, the Arab countries that invaded the new state of Israel with the intent to destroy it encouraged Arab residents of Israel to flee telling them they could return after the Jews are driven into the sea. This didn't happen, nor did these Arab countries take responsibility and accountability for the now displaced Arabs. In the meantime, the Arabs who stayed in Israel have equal rights to the Jews, and better conditions than the "refugees," despite phony and ludicrous claims of Israeli apartheid. I lived in Israel and served in the IDF. There is no apartheid in Israel.

Israelis should listen to Palestinians (the majority of them). The man guest gives lots of platitudes but avoids the obvious reality about the vast majority of WB Palestinians and Gaza Palestinians. Two Palestinian polls (October 2023 and in 2024), show that about 70% of the Palestinians support or endorse what HMS did on Oct 7th. The man says he knows others who don’t condone the violence. Perhaps he knows some, or they won’t be honest with him. They are too few and not in a position of power and don’t have the following of the vast majority of Palestinians (the 70%). Either way, it is not a risk that Israel should take.

Anyone who believes that peace can be obtained by giving the Palestinians an army (state), is a fool who should be mocked. From what I see people fall into 3 categories that support the "two state solution". Older people that have not updated their priors, younger people, that are still childlike and naïve in their understanding of human nature, and deceptive Islamists, who seek too exploit the lack of intellect of the first two groups to advance their cause.

As a Christian living in Canada there is one thing I don't understand - if most Palestinians do not support Hamas, why have we not seen one protest anywhere in the world that renounced Hamas and demanded the return of hostages in exchange for ceasefire? The fact that Palestinians are not doing that makes me think that they support what Hamas has done and what it continues to do. It's not like Hamas will hurt them here in Toronto, yet they support Hamas anyway and they call them the resistance. How else am I supposed to interpret not only their silence, but their seeming support for Hamas atrocities? Which leads to my next question - how does one give people who think like that a state?

No this is not correct. First off the vast majority of Palestine in Jordan were forced in to Jordan by Israel. They were stripped of their lands and homes and never given a chance to stay under Israel law. They were just forced out.
Many of the Palestine that live in West Bank and Gaza have been living there for a thousand years or more. Some can even trace their linage to the time of the Romans.
They were not responsible for Jews being expelled from the region. They were not responsible for all the persecution they have have endured. Yet they are paying for it. They're being kicked out of their homes and lands.
What's worse is Israel is brutalizing them and oppressing them. They should be given Israel citizen ship and given same rights and privileges as any Jew.
In the early days of America when we took Texas and California we didn't just kick all the Hispanic people out. They were given a choice to remain in the US and become citizens or go to Mexico. Some choose to go back to Mexico and others choose to stay. We didn't brutalize or oppress the Hispanic people who choose to stay. Won't say they were necessarily always treated fairly but they were treat far better then Israel treats the Palestine people.
Let me blunt. I don't give a crap about who the land belongs to. The Palestine people don't deserve to have their lands and homes taken from them just to build a Jewish state. They certainly don't deserve to be brutalize and oppress.
That's the problem with your argument. What your suggesting is Israel should keep going with the status quo. Which is what had lead to a group like Hamas rise up.
Nothing she saying will lead to peace if you think so then your as much a fool as she is.

  • @user-ii1pt5vq3e

I honestly believe that a Palestinian state IS inevitable.
THE QUESTION IS, do we want to play a role in this or will we set back while the IR or any of its proxies are involved?
While I'm not a scholar or a political scientist or involved in government, I think:
    - The establishment of an independent Palestinian state MUST be predicated upon Palestinians' acceptance of the State of Israel's right to exist.
    - A viable government must be formed. To accomplish this, Hamas and the current PA CANNOT be part of the deal. Instead, a temporary government should be formed by peace-minded members of the Abraham Accords including the UAE, Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan. Their focus should be on establishing order, planning for reconstruction of roads, buildings, and hospitals, including employing able-bodied male adults, AND completely overhauling the educational system (curriculum, texts, and staff --- NOT UNRWA).
    - Most importantly, a constitution needs to be created with a preamble that incorporates (at least in spirit) the Abraham Accords' own Declaration. At most, Israel should be able to provide input on matters relating to its own security as well as provide support for rebuilding the areas affected by this war.
    - After one FULL year of stability, democratic elections should be held under the newly formed constitution.
You don't have to agree with this, but the IR is real and the UN is clearly biased. Are you in favor of letting these factions have total control the outcome?
Qatar, Egypt, and Jordan will pretty much go where the wind blows.
Wouldn't your rather the Abraham Accords be the catalyst?

Not just Egypt; every Arab state that went to war against Israel in 1948 should be forced to allow in any of them that want to move there. That would be: Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia. Plenty of land and resources between the six of them to absorb every single Arab in Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem, if they all chose to leave. Obviously not all of them would, but the point is that it’s ridiculous that they’ve been denied that option, when they too are Arabs. Most Arab countries are artificial entities anyway, created by foreign powers in the 20th century. Culturally, linguistically, and ethnically they’re not distinct from each other, and are all full of Arabs who were born elsewhere.

Is it even possible to teach peace to people who adhere to war ideology?
From my point of view, the self-proclaimed Palestinians only understand "ceasefire". They have no idea about peace, respect and self-reflection. If Israel really wants peace with these people, then the Israelis should be prepared to temporarily occupy Gaza, Judea and Semeria for at least the next 200 years to teach the Palestinians how to live together peacefully.
In addition, I think it is important that every Palestinian knows their roots. If necessary through a DNA test. They should be able to leave the occupied territories but not return.
The first reality test will be carried out in 200 years. Do the Palestinians want their own state or would they rather live in peace with the Israelis? So it's a long-term project. Anything else will end in an endless ceasefire loop.
