The amount of participation yesterday was some of the most I've ever seen. I think participation is going to be pretty healthy. The car is really approachable.
This car gives me the feeling of the RedBull X2010 (the Gran Turismo prototype) ... It has stupidly high grip and downforce ! It made me realize how much lateral G's the F1 drivers can take... It's insane !!
I just love this car :D test drove and raced this car yesterday. The brakes with this car is ridicilously effective xD NOthing like I've used to with this car :D I went with iracings setups and it was (other than slow speed corners ;P) easy and fun to drive :P I'm definitely going to race with this car. I hope they'd bring mofe F1 cars and made series for those. I had a thought that if you had a friend to drive with you could go team up with him and pick up cars (for instance Mercedes) and you'd race with those and there could be only 2 cars per from that specific manufacturer and there'd be team championship and racer championship things like in real F1 season. But I don't know how they would be able to make it happen.
i get why they have the option to make the halo see through but at the same time its weird for me. honeslty while driving i dont even notice its there half the time. my eyes just blank it out like its not there
@@ErwinLiszkowicz It will be ok when the pro series guys race it and the broadcast races when there's actually something on the line but yea otherwise I fear the same.

What you said about your ts-pc, I have it too (with irffb thanks to your tutorial), but I still wonder if it would really be worth the money to upgrade to a DD wheel. The improvement from going to a G29 to a TS-PC was huge, but I'm not so sure if a DD wheel will give me the same improvement. It's not only the wheel, I would also have to buy a new rig, using a Challenge now so I'm looking at around 1500-2000 euro in total. Did you ever try a DD wheel so you can compare it with the TS-PC?
Im in the same boat with an older fanatec belt drive wheel. (CSR-E). Its a huge upgrade from my G29 but ive heard that the DD is just as big of a leap. However I definitely think its more worth for me to upgrade to some really nice pedals, like some heusinkvelds or the new VRS pedals, and get an aluminum rig before lastly picking up the DD to complete it. In the end, the wheel makes the least difference compared to the rest imo.
DD is definitely as big of a jump. Perfect smoothness, absolute loss-free detail, 0 clipping ever, and multiple times the overall strength if you want to turn it up

But I'm using csl elite lc pedals now which I already love and I think Heusinkvelds will feel better but won't actually improve my braking anymore, with these I can already brake perfectly on the limit. I love the ts-pc, but when finetuning the force in IRFFB I have to set it slightly weaker to be able to feel all the smaller forces. I think that will be the biggest improvement for me with a DD then - being able to run it at a higher force while still feeling all the ffb details. I'll start with an aliminium rig first, then the DD. It's an expensive hobby eh ;)

Definitely no. It's great, amazing for hotlapping but racing is terrible and I doubt anything is going to change after 13th week.

The update to force feedback changed everything for me. I like it more than iRFFB. You should give it a try and make a video ;)

Go into Garage like you are going to edit your setup and I think it's under the Chassis tab at the top there is a checkbox for the halo.
No strat modes to change fuel mix😭 Other than that this car is perfect
Fuel mix was outlawed midway threw the 2020 season bc of Mercedes „party mode“
Lift n coast, tyre saving Skills and building ers mode will be ur best friends
