I am 61 have been coming to Tenerife for 40 years, the last 10 years I have been coming out on my own, love every minute of it plus I don`t have to share the bathroom

Been going to Tenerife on my own for over 20 years, mainly Calleo Salvaje staying at the Tropical Park or the Pearly Grey. Every single time I have met other people to talk to, you are right just go and do it.
Totally agree with you, I came out to Tenerife for the first time on my own in 2021, it was amazing I could do what I want when I want. I met some lovely people who I’m still in contact with. I’m booked to come solo again next year. I can’t wait 😊

Same I just got back last week first solo trip loved it met lovely people who I plan to catch up with again in Tenerife sometime. I was hesitant but I'm glad I did it
I've traveled the world solo,you live life at your pace,meet people if it takes your fancy and you can learn and take in much more cultures than if holidaying with a gang of your mates,and it's incredibly relaxing when going solo,also it helps if you are comfortable in your own company😎😎

Totally agree Kevin life is too short & I love travelling alone, you do what you want when you want & there’s always people to chat to!, Tenerife is very safe, but of course always be alert, especially in Veronica’s!! Lol but overall you can have a great time!,
I came back from Tenerife last Friday, so just missed you, but had a great time & can’t wait to book the next one!!👍

Some sound advice there Kevin, I've been to Tenerife 15 times in the last 7 years and have gone there solo 10 of those times, can't beat it. 👍

Only been to Tenerife twice on my own found it to be very safe and had a great time found a pub during the day with live horse racing which i loved cheap beer cheap food entertainment really good just doing my own thing. Would recommend cheers mate great vlog.

Heads and Tails is a great place to meet like minded lovers of Tenerife. Wednesdays at 2pm if I remember rightly. Lovely people, very welcoming and informative.
Did my first solo to Tenerife for my 65th in June back for Christmas in Tenerife life is far to short 😳 😅

I went to Tenerife for a week it was nice to get away, I had a good week, it’s nice to do what you want to do

Been coming to tenerife 10 years on my own it's a fantastic place use the bus travel the island like Kevin does so many things to do
Travelled Vietnam and Thailand alone met people along the way , 2 weeks time heading to Los cris alone do my own thing will do tours and surfing, always meet people that way

@@ScotsmaninTenerife lol bars and nightlife you could join the other 500 vloggers in pattaya 🤣 you mightnt come home lol , you would need a month to 6 weeks to do as much as you can Bangkok heading north to, sukothai, ayutthaya, chiang mai onto pai and onto udon thani then I went back to Bangkok , used trains flights scooters and ended up sitting in the back if a pickup with a cow on one occasion 😆 then headed south, pattaya ,hua hin , koh samui and the other islands you would certainly make plenty of vlogs if you keep away from the Leo beer 🤣

Booked flight over, deciding between Parque santiago 1 or parasiso royal but can’t make my mind up haha. Easy walking distance to eveything is what I am looking for but can get a few hours Kip as well. Love the blog, keep up the great work 👍

My biggest worry about travelling alone is if I’m out at night and listening to music,bands etc would be getting back to my accommodation safely
good point Joyce I need to bring this up in another video, maybe good to pick a hotel right next door to a strip of bars etc..not too long to walk
I always go on holiday with my partner but I’ve always fancied going solo.
Joyce, get a taxi home, its just a few euros. You'll be grand.
Always went with my chum till things changed and did my first solo at 65 and going back for Christmas 🎄 nae worries 😟

Been going to Tenerife & other canary islands on my own for a good few yrs. Over for xmas & new year and my eldest daughter is out with me for 4 days over xmas, the rest of time mine.

I went on a day trip around La Gomera really enjoyed it, it’s a beautiful island, it’s well worth a visit Kevin
looks nice Dave I am just not sure how many videos approx 10 mins each I could get done there, think need a car to get about.

Thinking of going on my own in July next year to Tenerife due to circumstances. Been before to Tenerife before but never on my own. I know Las Americas very well so I'll take the plunge 👍

I'm really thinking of trying to come over on my own next year i used to come roughly 3xs a year with my ex partner., I'm a bit introverted at meeting people outside of work, and going into the bars I love on my own gives me the fear, so any advice is amazing
Drink in your room before you go out.
Get a hotel close to everything and a short walk to the taxi rank. I went to Soul Suite and other places on my own as I wasn't sitting in my room all night and I got chatting to lots of people.
join Tenerife and only me on facebook Kirsty lots of meet ups there, also pick a hotel close to lots of bars and maybe with entertainment on you get chatting to people.
This a fabulous video I so agree I wouldn’t think twice of travelling to Tenerife by myself

Sneaked off to Algarve when Portugal went on the green list during pandemic. Literally on for 2 weeks then back to red!
Partner didn’t want to risk travelling so I went on my tod.
Only felt a little strange when heading out for dinner and asking for a table for one. However on the plus, you only pay for a bill for one 😀
Had a great time though and doing what you want, when you want etc does really allow you to relax and enjoy your own company.
Still nicer having my partner’s company but I wouldn’t hesitate travelling solo again.

I came out to Tenerife last February with my granddaughter and now that I know the place wouldn’t hesitate coming again on my own , it is just a pity that going solo in hotels is so much more expensive!!
Yip some hotels with single rooms not too bad but can be dear.

thanks guys, intros look great and add to branding etc but from all my research they reduce retention rates ie people get fed up watching them and skip them after they have seen them lots of times so in theory can reduce the ad revenue per video. I might do a channel trailer on home page.

Was In benalmadina with mates but I stayed in hotel trident they shared room in hotel alay be not my scene ilke my own space then went to Santa ponsa stayed in hotel rafro Rey don Jamie 1st class mates again shared room again like own space as you life is to short the 2 holidayswer in may then July as I am 70 all UV ure blogs just missed you in da anta ponsa and went on trips myself totally agree with you Davie O coatbrige

@@ScotsmaninTenerife got a tip Kev, avoid Hoppa transfers, took my money to get me to Puerto then said they could only pick me up from the sol hotel not the airport, said I could get a free refund then tried to charge me 30% fee! What a shower. Made it impossible to contact them as the booking ref wouldn’t work, contacted PayPal they give an instant refund. Never again mate
@@philwanadoo7435 they’ve been appalling mate, booked with jayride instead, As I done a bad but truthful review on trustpilot, Hoppa then sent a link for a refund which STILL wanted to take a 30% fee for something they backed out of! Then they asked if I would do a good review because they acted quickly! They seem a mess, and very hard to contact, it’s lucky I wasnt traveling the next day, thank god for PayPal
Family are all doing different things I’d love to go I don’t think I’d go into a bar myself unless it’s during the day for music. Do you think I’d meet people?
on facebook there is a group think its called tenerife only and me where lots of solo travellers meet up, I wouldnt worry about night time but maybe pick a hotel right next to busy bars so you dont have a long walk home etc.. I have been solo loads of times never had any issues and met lots of people just chatting in bars etc. Go for it !
