I need a credit card to rent a car in Canada, do you think the TF Bank is a good option? I don't need a credit for other reason than this, so I will never use it for other than this reason (I'm just scared the "free" options are not fully free)

I would say that you look into dkb bank or commerzbank to get a free bank account. You can also apply for tf master card. Once you get a bank account and the tf credit card, you can ask volksbank to close your account

I have a garmin watch with Garmin Pay, so I was thinking about the Gebuhrenfrei card. But I don’t like that it can’t be setup with a direct SEPA each month. I have the Amex Payback and it is easier to just use that card. I wish the Amex could work with garmin pay.
There can be fees from the ATM provider not from the credit card companies. Bur remember Interest will be charged starting from the day of cash withdrawal.

Friend you didn't consider the currency exchange rate when using the card abroad. That's why there are no foreign transaction fees, they are built into the exchange rate. Second thing you didn't mention (even though you did discuss it in comments to another video) is that the cards are not user friendly when abroad. Usually the bank blocks foreign transactions; you have to inform them your travel plans in advance and even then it will randomly lock down again leaving you potentially stranded until such time you can call the bank again. If you are roaming on your sim this could prove very very costly and you are in danger of your sim getting blocked if your balance falls too far. SO although the cards CAN be used abroad the hassles are real.

No what it means is that, If you buy something on the 1st of January, you will get the invoice for that expense on the 3rd of February which you will have to pay in full by 20th February. This makes 7 weeks of interest Free period. You will have to pay interest if you select the installment plan.

You can call the Advianzia customer service and they should be able to help you if you have all the other details with you like your phone number which you registered with the Account and your ID card
Advanzia bank many times reject transactions without any clear reason when you use it out of country. It happened many times to me that even after 3d auth verification tranaction failed. Otherwise, the card and services is good.

Hi Ravi, if you have recently gotten the card then you might need to use it for a couple of months to get the credit limit increased. This is because you do not have a client relationship with TF bank in the beginning
The credit limit depends on your Credit Score. You generally start with a lower limit and once you use the Credit Card you can ask for the limit to be increased
I am assuming you opened an account with TF bank and they rejected your application. If this is the case, then you should try to register with Advanzia bank

By German ID i meant, the normal id card you get from the ausländerbehörde and not a visa on the passport

Payback has its own strength. It's more directed towards points collection from purchases. While these have insurance and travel benefits

No fee but because it is built into the exchange rate which can be 5% or 10% worse than directly exchanging currency at the bank.

If you have a German bank account then you should be able to pay the credit card bill as Luxemburg is in the SEPA zone

Mistakenly I applied twice for Advanzia Card. Will it create any problem. During the first time I mentioned wrong nationality.
Contact Advanzia and clear the mix up. They might cancel both the applications.

Yes, it shouldn't be a problem to use Revolut at least. I think Wise should also work but I haven't tested it.

Nope no closing charges. But be careful when opening and closing credit cards too quickly as it can negatively affect your SCHUFA score

I am assuming you are from the US? if yes then Credit Score in Germany is totally different compared to USA. The hassle won't benefit you at all.

What is the initial limit of both cards when we recieve them
Both of these cards have a starting limit of between 100 to 300 Euros. Some people do however get a higher initial limit but its quite rare
