    How many push ups do u need to b able to do to do flares?

    • @KaioFalcrow
      @KaioFalcrow  2 года назад

      It’s not really related, in pushups you use the triceps and pecs a lot, that are muscles you don’t use in the Flares. The only thing in common is that in both movements you use shoulders and core. But there are better exercises to train the shoulders and core for Flares: i would recommend L-sits (mainly for core) and Tuck Planche (mainly for shoulders). If you like practicing pushups keep doing it, I would recommend at least 15 to be able to do Flares 🙃 but as I said, the 2 movements are not strictly related so it can be subjective

    How long did it take for u to get the flare?

    • @KaioFalcrow
      @KaioFalcrow  2 года назад +3

      around 1 month for 1 round, 3 months for 10 rounds. But it's very subjective, it can take less or way more depending on your basics

    Honestly, talking about sets and reps, I found a tutorial (that I'd like to start one day) that teaches the flare in a "Scientific" way, dividing the flare in a lot of smaller exercises. ruclips.net/video/bOEJCYKNrUE/видео.html
    What do you think? Do you think that so many repetitions are needed to learn the flare?

    Hey bro, help me with My flare plis

  • @ManimalDetroit

    Let's face it. Achiving that level in 4 years is really slow progress. He needs to get some flexibility. Otherwise he just wasting his time practicing flare as he will never execute the proper form

    • @KaioFalcrow
      @KaioFalcrow  4 года назад

      flexibility sure would help him, but I also have seen some really unflexible bboys doing decent flares.. in my opinion his form is not bad, but I suppose his progress was slow because of his training method.. it also depends on how often he used to practice

      thats complete bullshit. some people are slow learners and it just take alot more effort and time to get things down. Im the same, and it sucks but it is what it is.

      Yeah man, I was thinking the same 3 years is a lot for Flares.
