@@SpitefulAZ if you got a place with a smooth floor and youtube you have a breaking school, all these moves were invented by people trying shit out, learn the basics and understand your body and you got this

WillyWonkasLight and more importantly, it’s not all power moves There’s foundation, which looks super easy to a non-bboy. It’s dancing up top, and dancing on the floor (toprock, and footwork). And everyone needs to be original (make up your own moves and sets)
That was amazing. I did it back in 1984-1987 and we were lucky to see "Egg Rolls, 1990, Head Spin, Reg Flares." The stuff that you guys are doing now, blows my mind. TY, great post. Always enjoy the flares, amazing that you guys/gals have that much strength and energy. I'm 51, but I still enjoy listening to old school break dance music.
Ya man, I'm 51 too and I can't believe the level they've taken it too. Good for you for keeping it going up to 87. A lot of people made fun of me for doing it last 1985. My RUclips shows lots of video of me and friends doing it early 90s
As a popper I feel nothing but respect and admiration for people who can do these moves and those who are learning, and I'll defend it against anyone who might despectively say it isn't dance. It sure seems tough, but the result is beautiful. These moves make the world a better place.

dedication and love for the art. i would love to get further into break dancing! i believe that i can see some similarities between the practicing / learning curve of break dancing and skateboarding. learning a few (starter-) moves might become a new thing for me, here and there between the miniramps and curbs. gotta start somewhere! much respect from germany! 🇩🇪
As a girl who's starting to learn breakdance in the street, I'm so impressed by these clean moves omg :0 I hope I'll be able to do the same one day, even if that might be harder for me cause I'm a girl.
When i was young me, my brother and my cousins used to dance this kind of dance moves like head spin, side lerry, side rolliks and crickets combined with harlem it feels great wish i could dance again
@@channelSNACK I'm sorry I know I commented on another post by someone. Just curious ....I'm pretty flexible and good at turning flips like a gymnast...do u think I could learn any of these moves before I turn 30? I'm 26 now. It was something I always loved as a kid and want to get into something else besides lifting weights all the time.
@@tijuanhoward3661 I know this comment was a while ago but if you mainly do flips and gymnastics things I suggest you should build a lot of core and upper body strength to do any bboy power moves, since that's what most of breaking power uses. Hope this helps at least.
@@tijuanhoward3661 I also suggest that you start with the basics like windmills, headspins, flares and master them before attempting airflares or jackhammers and what evs.
Big respect! I used to go to hood to hood back in the day with a big radio and cardboard challenging people. You'll took the moves to another planet. Positive movement.

I like hearing the audio in the video because in all of the videos I’ve ever seen of these, there’s music dubbed over the video and you’d think these moves are completely smooth and without impact, and because of that I was thinking I’m landing “wrong” when I thudded onto my feet. Thank you for this!
Wow that is incredible... Your technique and power is top top top top level. This is what power move fundamentals looks like. Super clean and super smooth. Plus, you are still doing the moves even though you are clearly getting more and more tired! Amazing. Just wanted to give my compliments :P
This is great! It's easy to forget certain moves or variations so this is very handy as a reference! I know most of those moves either from watching or doing but didn't know the name of every variation; only the main names and some variation names. I almost never seen "Figure 4 Air Flare" so thanks for that. Now I want to make a similar video!
I'm beyond impressed how far B-Boy / Breakdance has come since the 80s. A lot of these moves will probably have different names in different areas. I think No. 44 & 45, the 'Hand Hop', (variation), should be considered 'Walking on the ceiling' !! Great video & music. Cheers.
8:21 this must have taken you a few tries to get that combo down. I could tell by your reaction. That feeling of finally landing something is so euphoric.
