  • From all the powermoves in bboying/breakdance, the swipe may be one of the easiest to learn. This tutorial will teach you how to do multiple swipes in 3 easy steps.
    If you want to learn to do swipes, a strong core will help you a lot. So make sure to include exercises like whole body holds and L-sits into your workouts. Swipes are generally very dynamic, and the faster you do them the easier they will. But how long you will need to learn swipes depends on your pre-knowledge, fitness-level and motivation. This tutorial will cover all the important points, and this is in my opinion one of the shortest ways to learn this move.
    In the first step, you learn the upper body/arm movement. Then, the leg movement and the third step combines both. You will be able to do multiple swipes after following this video - 100% guaranteed!
    Learn how to do swipes in this tutorial.

    Oh my goodness! That's crazy how you are able to break down such a complex series of movements. The SWIPE has such a simple name. But you have to have super-hero coordination to pull this off. It looks so cool though. 🔥🔥🔥

      Obviously it doesn't look as smooth and impressive as the video, but it's definitely doable.
      Video was fantastic for breaking down steps ajd how to practice each one

    Hi ! Thank you for this great tutorial ! I have a question please. Do you use your right leg (i.e. pushing up with the right leg) to get higher ? Or maybe is your diagonal kick enough to get higher ?
    In other words :
    I dont know if I have to push with my right leg ? If so, do I have to push with my right leg at the same time I’m kicking with my left leg and pushing with arms ? Or do I have to wait a little bit to push with my right leg (i.e. after I kicked with the left leg)

    • @VitalityFitnessScience
      @VitalityFitnessScience  10 месяцев назад

      Hey man! Thanks for your question. Its actually both legs which keep u up, but the diagonal kick gives u the momentum and height u need.
      Hope that helps and good luck 💪🏼

  • @thomaryan8750

    Hey there! I have a question. In the first exercise you do (moving from one side to the other), I feel like my movement is really uncontrolled and I can't move my body up, I feel like I'm just falling from one arm to the other. What can I do to fix this? Do you push up with your arm only? Or also with your legs and abs?

    • @VitalityFitnessScience
      @VitalityFitnessScience  6 месяцев назад

      Basically you always push up with your arms AND legs (+ hips). It's a very dynamic move and your body needs some repetitions to get used to it 💪🏼
