Can i use the headphone output if i use an in ear monitoring system like the Xvive U4 or does that have to go to directly to an aux input channel? the version of this mixer we have is the ProFX12V3 with 1 aux output.....my drummer likes to use a wedge and I like In-ears. So wasn't sure the best way to give us both what we want
Great Video and very respectful. Thank you for not treating your viewers as idiots pretending to be a clown to catch our attention..Bravo!!! On another matter, I am looking for a different solution, but not able to find a video that explains how to go by to do so. I am trying to get my computer sound to go to the Google Translate App (to get simultaneous translation) and simultaneously allow me to connect a set of headphones while allowing me to speak back to the person on the other side. I am not, by a long shot, a technical person, so I hope I was clear enough for you to understand what my needs are. I hope you can respond and my apologies for taking the liberty to ask..Either way, Great job..
This video is a blessing. Recently purchased my first ever mixer Yamaha MG20XU and was wondering what would be the monitors solution for jamming with 4 / 5 persons and small concerts. I suppose this would be a straightforward and relatively inexpensive way to go .. right? Thank you.
Thank you for your video! I am a drummer playing a Roland eDrum TD-07 KV module with IEM stereo earphones KZ. Note I am only a drummer and our PA is a Yamaha MG 12 usb. No one in the band knows how to get my eDrums from my module to Mixer back to me. I have a Behheringer P1 splitter. Help me to connect! Kettnrr Audio videos are awesome! Thank you!
I'm not really new to music hardware however II am assembling my own setup for home / quiet band / online streaming I plan on having an guitar + 3 amps + bass + keyboard + roland td17 edrum + 2 mic my question are: 1. What do I need specifically to connect them all to one spot (make / model / brand / item links would be helpful) 2. We need to have the output be multiple IEMS/Headsets
for click track purposes, how do you connect it to the send insert to control the volume of individual channels. Example if I have a keyboard on channel 1, a guitar on channel 2 and a click track from a laptop on channel 3. But i only want the click track to be heard in the headphones for the drummer
thank youu so much dude, I have micro amp ha400 (behringer) and I don't know to connect it to my mixer (ashley premium-6). but because of your video, now I know how to connect it properly. I have a question, if I use main out method, which cable you to reccomend RCA cable to TRS cable or the one that you used? (TRS to doble TS cable )
It was interesting! Thanks a lot. Is there any video with the profx 12? I am trying to use headphones for my in ears mix of a drumset with a few mics, but i want to be able to use the sliders to control the channel volumes. How should I connect that? Thanks!
I have the Mackie ProFX12v3 mixer and it has a monitor fix jack. There is also a control volume pot and slider on the board. Could I connect the 4 way splitter to the fx jack and then connect a wireless device for IEM’s?
How understand when is a question of low preamp power or headphones impedance? I have a mackie mix 5 and i use my sennheiser hd600 in the headphones out to hear my tube amp and backing tracks from pc.. My problem is not the volume but the feeling on guitar is different.. Seems like a compressor has been added..
Thanks for the video you just said what Exactly I was looking for and you explained very visual something I need to understand better. I just have a question, If I have a track to connect but I want the audience don’t hear the click only the band what I do to create that effect and how to connect thank you very much.
Hi When using the aux output method is there certain adapters or any work around that u can do to make audio come through both sides of your headphones (mono through both sides) Thanks !
Hi , I have one question ? If i want to use Effect from mixer with my headphone ? Just Phones Out work with it ? Because I have an instrumental(Stereo) on one input and the microphone on another.. And if it's the FX SEND output that I have to use even though it's mono, how do I get stereo with the effects? Thanks for all your videos ! Ps: Another question , the HM-4 support Headphone 250 Ohm ? Thanks again ! And sorry if my english is not perfect , it's not my mother tongue.
Would love some advice! From my mixer, I am using a Bose tower as a speaker, so I have one main out and everything panned Left. I would love to use headphone monitors but will I be able to set it up so that I get sound in both ears?
So If I am trying to run 2 sets of headphone amplifiers for a middle school rock band to do headphone practice. I had one balanced cable going from the left master output to the headphone amplifier. If I have another headphone amplifier should I just use the right master output to the 2nd headphone amplifier? Today, when I tried using the headphone output it didn't seem to work - do I have to all the channels on PFS solo?
Hello! Please help me. I have a Yamaha Portable PA System with Bluetooth Stagepas 400BT. It has a console with only outputs for left and right monitors. Is it posible to use de monitor output to connect directly a in ear earphones using an adapter from 1/4 to 3.5mm? It also has a independent volume for the monitors.
Hello Kettner, I have an importante question: How can I get the sound of the right main speaker into my right headphone and the sounds of the left main speaker into my left headphone....? I mean you said that with the phones output, I can hear the mix in stereo, but what does that mean? Am I going to hear the right speaker into my right headphone and the left speaker into my left headphone?
please, I want to ask. if i have a personal monitor mixer behringer p16 and i have an analog mixer but i do not have a direct out . So what should I do ? i ahve only 2 aux
Maybe I could sound stupid but instead of using headphones on Headphone Amplifier, can we also use that to record the sound to the Laptop or mobile, or also use it as the microphone for some live streaming applications like youtube or Facebook? I have the audio mixer that has the Control Room output and I also wanted to use Stereo Out for the external speaker. But somehow the USB recording is not working because of a device malfunction. If you can also make the video out of this it will be a huge help. Kindly Reply. Thank you.
Great video! Quick question if we use the headphone outputs on a Mackie ProFX16 - will the faders control the volume we hear or will only the gain dial control what we hear?
Could you help me please? I use the behringer xr18 mixer and behringer ha400 headphones amp for splitting signal to 4 headphones on the rehearsals. I use “headphones” output on mixer. And while using some of the outputs of headphones amp I hear really noisy distorted sound. When I use this headphones amp for one headphones everything is ok. Could you help me please?
Hi! I have been watching your mixer tutorials for a year now and I just want to ask if you know what could be the problem if there's an hissing sound in my mixer's phone out? I tried changing different in-ear wires but still the same.

great video. I would need an advice. I have a Mackie Profx16v3. Has anyone been able to find the specs for the Mackie HM-4? Noise Floor, impedance, mw per channel? It's a great price and if it is transparent and drives the headphones better than the cheap audio interface amps (they always underpower) then this is a great improvement without buying audiophile amp snake oil.
