You can actually run the P2 in stereo with a stereo TRS cable. If your mixer has XLR stereo outs, you will just need an Y-XLR to stereo TRS cable and there you go. The only difference to your setup is, that you need to get the monitor signal from your FOH and not directly from your Micro Monitor.
The micro monitor has a stereo option, so FOH could plug into micro mon, and you could plug that into the P2 with a TRS. Stereo would be a nice luxury especially for longer sound checks, but running it mono is perfect for when bands are franticly switching. Plugging straight into a monitor wedge is just so quick and easy, so mono is what I'll probably use in most situations, but nice that stereo is an option.
KZ AS-10 ..I use them for everything. If you buy a $15 Bluetooth cable and a sturdier replacement cable for them you don't need anything else. I use them for recording, live playing, working out...
yes. I have an older Samson 'more me' powered personal mixer and i run the 1/4 out to an adaptor to a great set of Shure buds. This has been my set up for years. The only benefit to adding the P2 is to have 1 volumer mix on your belt. my rig works great - im a drummer gigging each weekend.

As a Bass player that does backing vocals, I think I'd be happy with MA400, and I think i wuold connect my vocal mic to the "Mic" input and get everything else from the behringer x air xr16 our band has. Which cheap in ears would you recommend for bass players? I have a pair of those KZ’s and like you said… they are weak in the low end. I have a query: It turns out that I have an acoustic amplifier (Laney A1 +) that I use for my electro-acoustic guitar and apart from the sound emitted by the amplifier itself I would like to have an in-ear return so I can move away from the amplifier a bit, avoid coupling and Excessive volume that added to the other instruments (which also have their own amplifier) is too much noise and the question is: My amplifier has 2 outputs: DI XLR and TRS line output. Can I send a signal from any of them to the Behringer MA400 to the mic or monitor input and get personal feedback? Would it work?
well you can actually do it wirelessly. I tried using a Wireless Guitar transmitter. put the transmitter into the source then put the reciever in the P2. Works fine with me. hahahaha.

You could buy a small 2 channel mixer and plug your vocal mic and guitar mic into it and pan one far right and the other far left. Then you could run to lines from the main outputs of the board to house pa, while using the monitor out to hear yourself and adjust both levels accordingly.

32shumble the micro monitor will only give you control of one or the other. You could buy a small mixer with at least 3 inputs (1 for guitar, 1 for voice, and 1 for monitor input from the main board) to use instead of the micro monitor. It will cost a little more and be a slightly more complicated setup, but that should work for what you’re wanting

Using balanced cables would probably be best in an ideal situation. However, I've been using unbalanced instrument cables to daisy chain out of monitor wedges, and so far I have had no issues.
You could and one of my bandmates does that. But having the micro monitor to turn yourself up is super helpful, and it's cheap enough that I definitely think its worth adding
The MicroMon has a TRS stereo input. However, on gigs I'll always use an TS instrument cable since I'm typically daisy chaining out of a monitor wedge and will therefore have a Mono Signal. It sounds fine, and I haven't had any problems so far

@@jondriver9069 you’re combining passive speaker level (powered by an amplifier) with line level audio device. While it may be have worked for you, it’s going to blow something up for 9/10 other people or even you if you go to a venue with some decent power amps. It works when it’s active monitors because you take the line level audio output by xlr. But speakon is carry voltages Upto or over 100 volts
@@taylorbrodie3907 only have needed to use the speakon adapter a few times, but worked fine when I needed it. Also I’ve taken the signal straight from many passive monitors and connected it to the micro monitor with a 1/4 cable, and it has worked well most of the time. Nothing has ever blown up. I’m not disagreeing that connecting from an active speaker would be preferable, but in most situations it hasn’t been necessary for me. Not sure why, but all I care is that I can hear.

That monitor input is for line level signal (out of a mixer, the thru output on an active speaker) please stop suggesting people send passive signal through this device by linking out of the nearest passive speaker, while it may have worked for you, its bound to blow up someone elses equipment as its not designed to do this. Please all, take the monitor mix from the aux bus at the mixer before it hits the power amp with passive wedges, and go ahead and use the xlr thru out put on active or powered wedges.
Extra cable hanging is easy to fix. Just strap them together with really small cable ties and it's almost unnoticeable.

You don't explain why the powerplay isn't enough for you. Is it because bending down is easier to do while playing than to signal to the soundpeople

Allows for more mobility on stage and also allows you to control volume at your hip. Super nice to have, but not necessary

I have used this system with both passive and powered monitors and have had success with both.

The PM1 is the passive version which you'd need to drive with an amp

the cableused to connect the keyboard to ma 400 is xlr male to 1/4 mono jack.
You might need to plug your keyboard into a DI box first then out from there into the ma400 mic input. I would try that if you have a DI box handy
