Tony knows his stuff when I lived in espouse growing up got some good memories fishing the comps with my dad I was junior loved going in to your shop as a kid always liked the banter in general Eastbourne has got some of the best Happy go lucky fishermen I've met I can't wait until I move back to Eastbourne as I've been living in Scotland for the past 10 years I've never fished the catch and release comps so looking forward to learning about the system until then tight lines boys

Cj I've just bought a sonik black bass rod 2/4oz 11ft5in.and haven't stop catching bass fantastic bite detection.
Discovered your RUclips channel around 5 months ago and have watched most of the videos and love them, learning a lot from them, making rigs,casting and bait presentation, love watching the competitions too, you all seem to have great craic,watched this episode around a week into finding your channel and have wanted to get the Akios 435 and the penn Rival 8000 reel from another video of yours, managed to get both a couple of days ago and am looking forward to giving them a bash.
Following this and CJ's channels, very entertaining and full of tips to help all people to fish, keep up the good work lads, from a new fan in Dublin Ireland.

about 15 years ago i brought a conoflex flattie for 10 pound now that was a bargain i sold it for the same money whish i kept it
Was swinging towards a 4 and Bait for lighter gear but I might have to take a look at one of those now
its a lovely looking rod, although Im a fan of the 4 and bait too
bait bin is a good bit of kit mate
ive had a goldsy rest for at least 30 years ,the basic tripod ,,its what i still use today
Yeah and its what i use too.
Had my 420 fury arrive today and shocked at the attention to detail.
It's true what they say, made in China and Re-branded.
Lacquer was put on by a blind person, first eye is squeaky and bound to fall of soon, chips in the paintwork and scratches along the rod.

IfI analyse what I actually use on a shortishbeach session I can manage with a small bag but a small seat and rest are very light.
Of course, there will be a delivery charge

Try calling Quentin Millman. On 01752 603001. He should help. I have got some spools here but you would have to bring the reel in to the shop and try as they are all diffeent.
That is a good price , most I pay is 5 quid
Hi guys im looking at the akios fury fx 435 power now. Do you think it would be ok fishing mixed ground bristol chanel marks casting up to 6oz weights plus bait, or am i better sticking to a standard beachcaster in this situation? Thank you
If you are using a fury you need to have the stiffer tip if you can get one, or youd be better off with a hell raiser as its rated to 7oz
