Courtney's scream is so beautiful. She always brings it after a melody. Kinda like Chino from Deftones. Melody for a minute or so, then a scream in your face. Awesome. \m/
They like Deftones so yeah I definitely see that and see why. I think in an interview she said they had a song with Chino as a working title.

This song reminds me SO MUCH of 90's Garbage (the band) and their goddess of a singer Shirley Manson.

This is a great evolution of their sound; got some djenty type guitar work then a breakdown that fit with the style they did with Eternal Blue. Courtney's vocals are just killer, loved the layers she went with and leading into that roar then boom back to the haunting vocals. Awesome song! Thank you Nik for introducing me to Spiritbox!
Sounds a lot like old Fear Factory. Kind of Linchpin-esque on the groove and industrial sound.
Then Spiritbox makes it sound so dark and haunting.

Man you hit the nail on the head as far as this being good live. I’m a huge Spiritbox fan to the point that I flew to another province to see them open for lamb of god, but I haven’t been too crazy about rotoscope or the EP… until I saw them live. Honestly nobody around me knew the band prior to the concert but I don’t think we stopped moshing the entire set. Rotoscope was an absolute bop and was seriously so much fun live. One of my top 3 songs by them now

Loved it. It feels new and different while still sounding like them.

Genuinely my first thought after listening to the 3 track “single”! I absolutely love this new style they’re bringing to the table, as nik said in the video, it’s a lot of styles in a box of spirits 😂

I don't think so. Spiritbox understands modern music. If you have songs release them as soon as possible. I'm guessing they're going to be steadily releasing music for years to come.
As long as Rotoscope is a one of a kind, I'm okay with that.
Because Sew Me Up and Hysteria are leaps and bounds more interesting, in my opinion. Also, still sound like metalcore.

Until yesterday I met this band for this song, and it came to stay on my playlist. Powerful voice, powerful music, makes me crazy.
Already on Circle with me there was som very eighties pop vibes in the vocals and grooves. This was just great.

When I first heard it, it kinda reminded me of Bad Omens newer stuff and I love it so much. The other two songs that dropped with this one are bangers too and sound a lot like their older stuff, which are also bangers.

I don't think it sounds much like their older stuff at all. This is, as Nik's title says, more like dance music. It's Spiritbox, so there's a familiar sound, but their earlier stuff was more progressive and complex.

Did no one pick up that the opening track on Eternal Blue was “Sunkiller”.
When I was in high school, this style was done with analogue synthesizers and was called industrial - and I say this as a good thing. I’ve always felt some NIN vibes in Spiritbox, and I cannot think of anyone worthier of taking over the baton. I love this, this band is becoming my favourite as of late :)

I'm very picky about electrocore (and all its subgenres) but this sound works amazingly
so far a few sub genres have popped up this year. We have pop core with bmth and ed sheran, northlane with club core, and now dance core
Saw them at Sweden Rock Festival, and yes, this song absolutely slayed!!
So did all of them, but this definitely has a vibe that sticks out a bit, in a positive way.

Really like this song, feels like the love child of Garbage + Fear Factory but still has that Spiritbox sound throughout. Easily one of the defining bands of modern metal.

I can't decide if Rotoscope is my favorite by them or Jaded. This debate will go on in my head for a long time. I do know that this song is sic as hell on my car and living room sound systems.
