I'd been looking at the Bento Box for a while, and from that had been considering making my own version of this. Glad to see someone making it. Just placed my order of 5 to take advantage of that free shipping.
@@maydayalaska It is a HEPA 13 and Activated Carbon filter with 2 powerful 4028 fans that cleans the air inside the Bambu Lab printer. Here is the link: voxelpla.com/products/bento-box
@@maydayalaskait is a recycling air filter that goes inside your enclosed printer. I got mine from voxlepla too because I didn’t want to waste time with the inserts/magnets. Some people modify them. In my case I put a temperature controller so that it turns on by itself once the chamber gets to a temperature. It’d be cool if voxlepla sold one of these modifications.
es, it’s better to add HEPA to the filter. However, it’s too small for the large volume of the Bambu Lab. Also, the sensor to measure 300nm particles is amusing-the majority of particles in 3D printing are much smaller than 100nm. Overall, it doesn’t work well at all. But yes, it’s a little better than the original filter
In the video you mention a HEPA 13 filter? What is that? I know there are MERV 13s but I havent heard of a HEPA 13? HEPAs start at MERV 15 or 16 I think.. Is it a MERV 13 or a HEPA?
I'm so skeptical that this tiny filter can do much, at least for more than a week, Specially for sucha heavy usecase. I want to see how well this will do in a month or two.
@ oh that’s not bad…. I did already order an ikea purifier for the room. Guess it’d be a second step! I wish there was free shipping to Canada too! I might just order one. Is this “weaker” than the bento box? Have you guys done proper testing on that? It’d be awesome to see your data mentioned on the website :)
@@Amybnuy@Amybnuy We do offer discounted shipping for Canada; reach out to our support, and they can help you with that. We recommend getting both the Bento Box and the X-Filter for the most optimal filtration. The bento box has a larger carbon filter and the fans are more powerful so it will be effective for longer.

For most optimal filtration, we recommend getting both the Bento Box 2 Stage Filter and the X-Filter.
You might consider making an X-filter that is compatible with Flashforge Adventurer 5M/5M Pro printers.
I just ordered two. I just printed my second Python AMS as well. This is a great company with excellent customer service.
Thank you for your support!
Cool video! Thanks for the hack I will use it for my x1 carbon.

Is ther any european reseller for this? It's too expensive to order it from the US
Reach out to our support, they will be able to provide a shipping discount. We are working with an EU supplier and it will come to the EU very soon.
HEPA does not remove UFP's around the 15-65nm range. This is largely useless compared to the regular activated carbon filter the X1C comes with.
Great video. Where can we find the same sensor as the one that you are showing?

How long does a filter last approximately?
We recommend replacing it every 250 print hours or 2 months

The rating for the HEPA 13 is MERV 16.
