Hi. Can you talk about the most common failures with this radio. I have one that do not initialize and get hot. The display only shows the bmw logo. And the lower is hot on touch.

2013 bmw x3 m 3.0 35i dvd player is not taking dvd but when i press eject it says its empty. any help or idea

Hi, mine shows only bmw logo and shut off after 30 40 sec later and I can’t use it. If I replace it with used one, Do I need to program it or just replace with new one?

you need to have it programmed if you want all the features to work but for basic function you could gat away with it.
@@HiTechElectronic and do you think is it the headunit? Because the screen shows only BMW sign and turn off a bit later.
@@emrebilgic7321 Yes, the head unit is bad.
I hate how everyone already has the air vent cover popped off.....that's the hardest part of the entire process....show where and how you pop it off that's the point of the video.
Just insert your dash removal tool close to the location of the clips shown in video and and pry it out.
