Hi mate, just bought crashed bmw, it a non starter and the airbags are blown. Do they have a pyro fuse which cause them not to start? Would appreciate any help?

Based on your experience, i have something rolling in my dashboard (f36) when i accelerate, brake and turn on both side, where do you recommend to look first? Because it is so annoying i would litteraly disasamble all the dashboard 😅? Thanks
Thanks for replying! For me it seems to come from between the steering wheel and the window, deiver side. I was thinking to pop out the air conditioning like you did and take a look inside. Because it slides like if it was on a flat surface and seems ti be quite heavy also
@@gnarflugnarflu2953 hmm it’s a tough one I’d take out the cluster area and yes the idrive section too. But remember when you take any of them bits out it will most likely turn your airbag light on. So you’ll need a diagnostic after to get it turned off…
Wow bro, I had this job pop out on me out of no where and this my first ever dash period and you helped me every step of the way bro, I know I would of been here for atleast 3 hours if it weren’t for this video bro I really can’t thank u enough, I charged 300 to replace the dash, wondering if I lowballed myself yet it doesn’t feel like it bc you helped me do it in less than half an hour so thanks very much, and you inspired me to buy a go pro and show my procedures to the rest of the world in hope to spread knowledge and make lives easier as u have sir, I do upholstery btw, also I checked my hands after I finished and I guess I’m no mechanic 😂😂

Can I bring my F30 to you to pull apart and stop all the noises coming from the dashboard using felt tape and then put it all back again? Would make the driving experience so much better!
Did you disconnect the battery and ECU in fear of the airbags going off ? What are the chances that the airbags go off if you have the battery disconnected and wait 30 minutes.

Yes they do, it’s on the power cable attached to the battery enclosed in a red plastic box

Having same issue with my 320d 2016, hence I'm looking at these videos 😢😂 and I'm planing to take the dash out to fix it,it drives me nuts!

What sort of screw driver head is needed for removal of the dash.
Think you need a T5 screw driver. I can’t remember fully but it’s definitely T screw driver…
