Looks like material damage multipliers aren't being calculated, which is why the shield damage is weird. It's using the new DamageMultiplierConfig... which seems to be completely impractical if it doesn't work.

Could I just add my vote to a request for adding "ripple fire" like we get in Mechwarrior? Also, count me positive for a single auto-turret with twin heavy Vulcans.
Why i'm feeling that the démon will be a vulkan nightmare for poi? Well thanks for the review and little glimps . All those looks fantastic. I can't imagine how much work vermillon put in those.
Hey Spanj, would you consider doing a series on "Chilling and Rebuilding" for updating your past creations to work with the new versions of Reforged & Eden (yes, even with Eden becoming part of Reforged if I heard that right)? Especially the new weapons with maybe variants in the weapon levels? I imagine a SAS Warthog with higher-level weapons and a battle with a few sad Zirax ships. Or a SAS Buzzard Gunship with more punch over the horizon taking out POI defenses. I am not a builder...but love using your builds in my games so I do not need to build.
Rails should be more effective, Laser is thermal bloom with minimal kinetic impact (photons are particles!), Plasma is like laser but you have more density so more kinetics, rail however is thermal (friction of air and shield surface interaction both) as well as a high kinetic energy transfer. think of it more as laser pointer, matches and air soft or paint ball, which hurts more? The laser pointer in the right range can do damage to the shield (skin) but it will take time, the match flame will do more damage but area of effect, air soft you have to have additional equipment and it still is dangerous enough that they limit velocities and targetable areas.

The Empyrion sound effects don't do justice to these beauties 😭Hopefully some day Eleon allows custom sounds to be added. I do love the consistency between SV, HV and CV weapons as well as between the manuals and turrets, it did always strike me as odd, that SVs and HVs couldn't both mount the same turrets and manual fires and that some turrets didn't have manual versions and vice versa so it is great that RE2 seems to rectify that. I'm nervous about the CPU, I know everything is subject to change, but the general trend between all the devices you've shown is that they will be CPU heavy, it seems like the late game grind for quantums and aux cores is going to be required in order to field combat vehicles of any capacity which would be disappointing because the grinding gameplay is not compelling or enjoyable for me. I don't mind needing some grind to acquire a doom battleship, but the scorpion is as you said, supposed to be a light tank. "Light tank" to me means that it is less than 9Core but if having 4 weapons (or 7 if we assume that mediums are about double CPU of current weapons) and a shield is already pushing CPU limits then "light" tanks (and other vehicles) just won't work because they won't be able to mount enough firepower to do any meaningful damage. Maybe I'm getting worked up about nothing and all the CPU values will dramatically decrease before release, or the grindy tasks currently required to acquire additional CPU will be reworked, but as it stands now, I see the makings of endless grinding for even midgame vehicles and that is not a pleasant thought for me. Time will tell I suppose. Good luck to you Vermillion in your effort to find balance! I anxiously await the end result :)
QUESTION: I have only 200 + hours in vanilla finishing that off before I go to the mod modes, my question is with the slow plasma cannons, can you have two plasma's on alternate fire modes. or would you have to do it manually to get that effect? @@Spanj Now I am really confused (and not just about Porject). I play on a Reforged Eden server, and we currently use aux cpus. This is Reforged Eden 2, so why wouldn't aux cpus still be part of it? Are they being removed form Reforged Eden 2? Or have I been playing a modified version of Reforged Eden where someone shoe-horned in aux cpus? I didn't know the aux cpus originated from Project Eden, but I have never played Project Eden.

hi all,i hope they implement a few endgame goals, for example " destroy Zirax home planet" or something like this, after a while its getting boring in my opinion. kind of endless playing without a goal or mission

afaik project eden is being updated for missions/story and some QoL stuff but not more devices or blocks

Those heavy Vulcans can also be called the "Erasers", because things will just disappear when they fire. Wooboy

CV mining multi tool lost its beam with continual fire as well.

CPU as always with RE is a little too tight. I always raise it on my personal server.
You can use aux cpu to boost cpu without going to quantums right?
yes, aux cores are part of Porject eden though so couldnt use them in this version

The options are no spinning at all; or spinning while turned on and not spinning while turned off. There's no in-between.
