- In this video I show a brand new tactic I found, by utilizing some "features" of Empyrion! In this never before seen strategy, I show how you can quickly core admin POI's, and how you can also use that knowledge to quickly core enemy CV's.
This can be used in many ways. Besides a few shown, you can also use a "bait" turret when fighting CV's. That bait turret can simply hang off the front of your ship. The key, is that once you bury the turret/weapon into the enemy ship, it's turrets are still targeting your weapon, and they stop firing!
The CV shown (Mosquito) is a concept vessel and not yet available on the workshop. Once released, I will update this with the direct link to the BP.
Using this on a multi-player server may break the rules of that server. Use at your own risk ;)

The fun part is, it works the other way round as well. When I was trying to stop a quick maneuvering enemy CV with my CV, I found damage on internal components of my ship later on, with the external armor blocks still intact (e.g. my core, which is at least 3 blocks in every direction from the outer hull, had some percentage of damage, despite of the armor blocks being still there). That was a reminder for me, of your video, and a warning, that one day my "ram to slow down" tactic may actually backfire on me :)

Haha, brilliant! I saw someone talking about how the turret top had no collision for POI raiders, but this takes it to a whole new level.
The critical bit is to do your research...spawn in what you want to kill and learn where the core is in creative. Every poi/PV has a core, and knowing where that is from several angles is very beneficial, as you don't want to blow up all the loot getting at it quickly

If you are using this in SP Go for it. However on Spanj & HWS servers you would get banned because this is an exploit.

I'm pretty new to the game, is there a difference between the two sensors your using on your ships tool bar?
Pvp servers turn off underground turrets due to players burying turrets and cores. But it would have been nice to use this.

this "brand new, never seen tactic" is the reason that most bigger servers have disabled all player turrets working under ground level...for few years now...
That’s not true, and you clearly didn’t see the last half where I demonstrate this in space, on CV’s. Maybe those pay to win servers do something like that for underground with customizations, but those are not the norm by any means.
It's common tactic if you playing empyrion long enough not hard to know this stuff but I do respect what movado trying to do with video because I've seen all people video from empyrion that bragging about how to kill dreadgnut or corrupt stuff at thier big ass huge cv with modify server instead of playing refordge eden purely. That's why I watched this guy video and sub him because of that.
I think there is no need to custom anything. There is an official option in the config of eah (for mp server) to disable underground turrets

That is Tartarus. It’s a core 9 mining SV, that’s all gravity safe. Fantastic miner that you can use on any planet.

Tartarus is a bonkers mining SV. I enjoy using it in my solo games, for mining the bejeebers out of planet resources.
When I'm not planning a serious mining run, I keep the little Keelback in the hangar of my explorer CV.

Eh, exploit yes. But this game is a PVE game, not PVP. If people want to do this, why should others care? It doesn’t affect anyone else in the whole server. Honestly, I think people should just play the game how you want to play it, and leave others to play how they want. If the purpose of playing a game is to have fun, is it really fun if you’re judging others on how they play? The gaming world would be better if people simply minded their own business.
