- Very slow run, with a very stupid faint lol. Watched the footage frame by frame and Kushala's mouth didn't even make contact with my character, so that's fun.
But it doesn't matter. I still enjoyed this a lot. Risen Kushala is by far my favorite new monster of the update. Amazing new visuals, great pattern changes, awesome new attacks, amazing color palette ; I really, really like Risen Kush.
Ignore the set I used in this run. I was experimenting with the new skills ; in the end this set was trash and I came up with something better already. I also already have an updated Strength Hammer set that's so much fun to use.
I had training against Kushala Daora with Courage but I definitely think Strength is much better in the matchup. Both Kushala Daora and Teostra give huge openings that are big enough for Strength Hammer but not for Courage Hammer.
So this run was overall very awkward but at least it really shows you how I try to deal with a new monster

It's funny to think that kushala used to be the most annoying monster for me in World/Iceborne and now in Rise/Sunbreak, it's one of my favorite ever in the series.

Pretty good run I beat him in like 13 minutes oh yeah I used hinoa & minoto (HH for both). Using the followers is fun even tho it’s definitely not for speed running lol
Risen kushala has such cool attacks I love both him and teostra but they're a bitch to speedrun lol
Havent fought that thang but I usually take 2x longer than your first run. I know what to expect I guess 🤣🤣🤣
another combo that made sense - water strike+golf swing.
you changed armor this time to full on elemental. is it the style(courage) or the monster type (receives elemental damage more)?

Absolutely crazy, especially gear wise. Already updated nearly all of my sets, got insane augments with the new augment option, got actual god charms with the new melding options, all of the new armor skills are amazing and really unique instead of being just flat damage boosts. The new monsters are all 3 amazing and the new afflicted stuff especially at high levels is actually a challenge.
