Hello Mike idk if you know it or not but you can get a gallon of kerosene and mix it with the sawmill shavings pile from the mill and that makes a really good fire starting material and all you're out is a gallon of kerosene from doing it too
Remember that Paul Bunyan's blue ox was called Babe. And that truck will always be an ox. I have owned several F 600 and always got good service out of them
Old blue would be very fitting. Glad to see you bringing in some pretty cool old school equipment. Would love to see you bring that thing back from the brink of death.
Nice clean up over at Cliff's house, and some bonus firewood, who doesn't like a good brush pile burn ... he'll probably want a discount next year on a basket ! ... lol ... nice to see neighbors helping each other... can't wait to see the Hauses pour
So dry here even with the snow we had Tuesday and Wednesday we still have burn bans on in Ia. Ne. SD. MN we've had strong winds Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 40's to up to 50+ plus mph winds hoping for some rain next week it dry Have a great weekend Morgans !
I like Bluford. Great job on Cliff’s place, I hope he’ll show us what he did with that area when he’s done, sounds like a great plan. At least you got some good wood out of it. Thanks for your daily video’s! Have a day!
In my experience, the leaf blower is key. I use a backpack type, you can throttle lock or zip tie the throttle on and with a little patience you can get an absolute inferno going that will consume anything you feed to it! Burn piles are one of the finer things in life. 👌
All that work done and Mike didn't break a sweat or a sore back lol, maybe the Old Blueford, enjoying your videos and seeing all your equipment at work.
Mike - Friends helping friends - it doesn't get any better than that. Blessings to you and your family. Hi to Melissa, Hunter, Levi, Mrs. Levi, Thai, Eva, and the pooches.
Very nice work. Cliff has a very nice place. Can't wait to see it finished. Quite a few logs there, will be a lot of firewood. Mike, your conversations in front of your building w old glory flying in the background is just sweet, I love that! Traffic on the road can see it too and I'm sure it's a wonderful sight for them too. Guess you may have to load the splitter onto the trailer and take it over and split the stumps up so they will burn faster. I liked the 24 minute video, every minute! Thanks!👍🚜❤
I didn't know until today that you were requesting names for your blue dump truck. With all the blues songs that you use for background, I'd like to suggest, "Morgans Blues Buggy". Also, watching you work the gravel at your neighbors, you might invest in a medium landscape bucket for gravel placement and grading. When I operated, all we had was a length of I-beam that we had that was perpendicular to the boom to scrape with.
Nice job Mr. Morgan you are a slick operator , didn't dent or punch any holes in the floor of the trailer . I'd like to watch you work all day but we got 10 inches of wet wet snow here in northern Ontario and have plow it out of the barn driveway , weather man says going down to -15 tonight and no idea for tomorrow . Anyways enjoy how the M&M enterprise is growing . Be safe and thanks for showing our blurry picture of our 50 year old tractor
Just what is needed ~ a friend who has Big Equipment to help out when needed. Nice job of clearing and getting brush burned and that jag of wood you hauled back to the house was quite decent in it self. Stay safe up there and have a good day.
Greay video I would liked to c the dump truck this would have been a great first job for it but I’m sure u wanna go over it a bit b4 using lol safety first but yea I’m ready to c what fun stuff u guys have comin up in near future god bless
Mike, your reminding me of great times burning huge piles here on the farm, something childlike comes over you. Just sit in a lawn chair and enjoy the view. Great video🚜🪵👍🏼🇺🇸
I like "Blueford". Whatever you name it, it was a great purchase...and I really liked your negotiation technique on it. The buyer and seller were both happy. Have a day!
I always dig pit when I burn it seem to get those big stumps taken care of and the pit is easy to fill when done and it doesn't have to be has big as you think. Just sharing enjoy your videos.
Great video. You got it taken care of. Looks good. And lots more wood for firewood. It’s sure great to have good neighbors. Thanks. Take care and have a good one 👍👍👍❤️
Hi Mike. Recent subscriber and fellow Ford fan. Love your videos. I’ve been binge watching as I’ve been off work due to foot surgery. Love your lifestyle and willingness to help family and friends. Keep it up. I’ll be watching. Thanks Len
When you get a wood bunker fully emptied out I think the bottom 6 inches of that material will probably become some really good compost you might wanna take some wooden pallets and make a composter collector cause I think that over the course of a year or so you’re gonna get quite a bit of really good compost that people might want to purchase for their gardens it’s going to be dirt it’s gonna be mostly bark and things like that and chunks of wood it hasn’t fully broken down yet but if you put it in a composter I bet it’ll it’ll calm. Even a little splinters of wood that you have on the bottom of it I bet it’s already got warm isn’t it you put it someplace warm add a little barnyard friend I bet it’ll start to grow proper enzymes to help break it down and become real good garden material you can mix it with your leaves and stuff by the end of the year I mean I know that that properties gotta generate good deal of leaves as a product that you could sell that you’re just generating out of the stuff that you’ve otherwise be burning off or throwing away anyway just a thought and it would be something that probably I would only sell those who are gonna come and get it but the same time you got the equipment that you could move it around and put it in the trucks or even put it. In your dump trailer and be able to deliver to people in the local area when they put their vegetable garden and someone in pain other product that you could probably have on hand for next year you could start it this year and it wouldn’t cost very much some time and some leftover wrap pallets to make a compost star pens and you could pick where it went probably put it on the edge of the woods somewhere where you don’t even use it very often but just put stuff in it that needs to break down leaves stuff in the bottom of your wood compost or whatever just a thought
Good morning Phil! And all the other guys too! High 30’s F (-~5C) here in the western Ozarks south of Phil and Robert W and a couple more commenters from the area SE of KC. Rainy again today it appears. Might make a shelf out of a few pieces of that old salvaged red oak. It planes and sands up really nicely- pretty grain and hue. Looks like a goodly number of saw logs in that pile of firewood logs!
Use a bale of straw as a fire starter. Put bale as far in as you can . Start in on the side where the wind can blow it inwards. Ive burnt many of fires clearing trees off. Works very well to put a section of 4 or 6 inch pipe and blow air through it the hotter the fire the LESS smoke. To prove my point look what happened when you stopped the blower ....huge plume of smoke that fire will get so hot you won't be able to stand next to it that is why u need the metal pipe.
I agree with Billy. Babe would be good choice. Nice video batting clean up Mike. Plus some firewood for you. Whatever plans neighbor Cliff has, Tom will work his magic & it will look magnificent.
Very nice of you helping out a neighbor And intern you got a lot of good firewood you can cut split and sell I'm doing the same for a neighbor here and the Ozarks this weekend Love your videos.
Also…at the 2:40 mark you pass two small trees, both are circled with what poking in the ground? Maybe a deer guard of some sort? Deer keep eating my planted Christmas trees we plant after using inside. Thanks! Jeremy Carr, Hamden CT, by way of Memphis Tennessee!!
That burn pile... That's where it's at. I would make it an all day affair. Light a cigar, cut the grass. Come back throw some more wood on. Stare at it for a few hours. Hang out in the garage. Come back add more wood. Be crackin cold ones all day. (Pepsi I dont drink) This video has got me ready for summer
GOOD MORNING IT IS 220 A.M. FRIDAY THE 25 OF MARCH. HOW DOES IT FEEL TO MOVE MORE THAN I LOG AT A TIME. YHONIST TO GOD I AM NOT TRYING TO CHANGE YOU BUT IN A WAY MAKE YOUR MORE EFFICANT. Nothing like working with the neighbors. Always rewarding and a great day

Dang that big orange machine is handy as a pocket on a shirt.
Blueford Oval Morgan.
I use a small leaf blower to start my camp fires. Have a productive day.
I like Billy Ladner’s suggestion “Babe”!

Awesome as always Mike! Sweet soundtracks in this one!
Productive day with plenty of fodder for the wood splitter
Good truck names listed but I like Bluferd. Mike I’m always amazing how much brush one can generate by taking a few trees down. 👍✊
Shouldn’t the spelling be Blueford? I still like Skeeter in memory of all the mosquitoes she will kill 😂.
I like Tonka. There could be copyright issues, though.
Had a ‘60 Ford pickup in the early 70’s that I called “Old Blue”. Kinda reminds me of your dump truck!
another good video, it's wonderful to see neighbors helping each other.
Dump Truck looks like a “Bertha” to me, Ole Bertha

Three loads with the trailer, that would have been a good 1st job for Bluford.
BlueFerd sounds like a good name for that truck Mike. Great video thumbs up.
Letsdig18 builds a fire the same way. Great job on the clearing. I'm sure the other Mike will do a great job with the concrete!

This video make me jealous. I am aching for things to dry out here. I am ready to get back out and cutting wood, but mainly to get my boat out.
