  • Begins with the Happy Worm ride, and from there to the lake. Next is walking through Lickskillet, with Snack Shack, Sky Buckets, and Ice Cream Basket. Next is Cotton States, with the train appearing and the whistle is heard. Included are Cotton Poppin Balloons and Dodge City bumper cars. Next is the railroad engine house, Skee Ball, and the Carousel. Next is Thunder River and then the Rabun Gap station for a train ride. Then a view of The Great Air Racer airplane ride, and a glimpse of the mine train. Then going into Modern section, with Lost Parents, and Looney Tunes Theater. Next is Georgia section, with Ga. Grub, Souvenirs, glimpses of the Log Flume, and a caricature stand. Then to the Front Gate and the fountains. Then to British section with the Highland Swing and a glimpse of the Hanson cars. Then the beginning of Monster Plantation, and the video ends.

    Awwww...the Happy Worm!! Such fond childhood memories of that ride. This a great snapshot into those super busy Six Flags Saturdays!!

    @21:14, I think that's my mom standing in the doorway of the Lost Parents log cabin. She worked there during the 1985 and 1986 seasons, and that's pretty much where I'd find her...standing in the door, people watching, waiting for someone to get lost.
    I was 12 and spent my entire summer at SFOG during that 1985 summer. The employees were so familiar with me that I ended up in the employee yearbook, standing at Lost Parents with (ironically) my own parent.
    Some of my best memories are from those two summers at the park.

    this was fun. brought back old memories of me as a little one in amusement parks. SFOG is my home park these days for now.

    When the park was a park, with lots of shade provided by a park in a deep forest. Today this park is nothing more than asfault and heavy metal that comprise the rollercoasters. Sadly, if these same people ad brought their young child to SFOG today, the youngster wouldn’t have much to do with his parents and the adults wouldn’t have much to do with the youngster.
