Jacob, if there were an award for commitment to the art and crafting of vlogs and for continued excellence in content, you should get it.
Congrats on visiting the 5 state fairs in 5 days. Your videos bring me so much joy!! Thank you.
FINALLY!!! Every time we go to a fair we look for you! My husband works for Eudora & did your camel ride, thank you for taking pics with him and being so nice! You’ve been shaping our family vacations for years and we were so excited to be a part of yours! 🐪❤
Thank you so much! The Camel ride was wonderful! Helped restore my faith in Camels!
I've never been more excited to do a ride than when I saw Jacob standing in my camel ride line. I wanted to push everyone outta the way to get you up there. So happy I got to meet you it was a great day!!
That Indy 500 Rollercoaster looks quite amazing. Very unique.
Jacob is a man on a mission. Where in the heck do you get the energy?! All the driving and then walking around. You are better than me Jacob. God Bless. ❤
It's because this is his passion. It's not a job, it's a career.
@@suicidality2744 well I'm happy about that. I get to see other parts of the country I normally dont get to see.
Lol the disinterested Ghost Manor operator on his phone ...
LMAO…… your lowkey reaction to the Ghost Manor was awesome… ah shucks they hype you up with that cage seat but that was the most underwhelming ride ever 🤣🤣🤣 love you!
Thanks for taking a moment to talk to my son on Sunday. You really made his day!
It was so cool getting to see you in-person! I was the one at the ticket kiosk. Glad you got to visit our fair. 😊
These videos are the best! We’re counting down the days until our trip to the Minnesota state fair next week and this is helping me with the wait.
Hey I was just there Saturday ! I hate that I missed one of my favorite RUclipsrs being in town again . Love your videos and safe travels my friend :)
Truly outstanding! Jacob, one can tell how hard you’ve worked over the years by the fact that now you make it look easy.
But your style has now been honed over hundreds of videos, and through persistence, you have created a fully 3 dimensional character who is a blast to spend time with, puts one completely at ease and puts positivity out into the world. No kidding, the Carpetbagger is so engaging I can actually see a feature film or two based on his exploits.
It is gratifying to me to see how your hard work over the years is paying such dividends, and I don’t mean only financial. Your content and the way you present it grows and grows. Keep the quality up and I believe you will reap rewards you have yet to dream of.
Thanks
It means a lot, thank you!
What an awesome comment, I couldn't agree more!! Hope to see a Carpetbagger film someday.
The inflatable corn maze is pretty clever 😂
Its be prety cool on a "grand" outdoor scale, But anything bigger than that.. be wasteful with plastic/microplastics.
Thanks for the trip. I have not traveled much in Tennessee
You've made peace with the camels! Yayyy! Now to hear: "That'll do camel...that'll do."
the animals are so cute made my day
Love the 2 pigs that stopped to relieve themselves in the middle of the race, they're like Whatever boss, when you gotta go, you gotta go! 🐷🐖🐽😆
Thank you so much for putting these videos out. I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed the past few days knowing I'll get a Carpetbagger State Fair video each day!
I really enjoy these travels, the fairs, the rides, food and the scary attractions. 😊
Your summer of carousels should end with the best one ever. The indoor carousel in Kingsport, TN. All the animals are handmade by local artists. There is also a muffler man and a giant Indian statue too! You need to come see!
What a journey you've already been on. Keep it up man we all love the videos!
When you eventually make it to the CA state fair you will have to check out the county dioramas. Each county does a large scale diorama, some have basic animatronics, some are semi walk through. I think they are different every year and they always do a good job on them. It's quite a bit better than the bookcases you showed at this fair. Its also a semi-competition because they give out awards like 'best design' or 'best special effects' etc.
" THANK YOU ....!!!!, for the complete state fair tour...not just the mid -way
Love it Jacob keep up the awesome work and be safe and have a safe travels
love all the farm critters and all the adorable squirrels!
25:55 The a'maize'ing balloon display celebrating corn
That was the worst dark ride and carousel yet and you have shown us so many that it is amazing that you found both at the same place. Makes me glad you didn't ride the big rides.
You did a great job going to all those great fairs i’ve been to two Ohio fairs in my 70 years so thanks for taking me to all those others 👍
Brian from Northeast Ohio 👍👍👍
Loved the balloon sculptures !
Thanks for taking me to Tennessee state fair never been to that state 😊 awesome Jacob ❤❤❤❤❤
Love the relationship between jacob and camel 😂
I want to say crows normally check the scene before they eat and a scarecrow would do the trick temporarily
WOW 19 fair are you trying to go all 50 states? Take it easy Jacob, healthy food and rest. Thanks for showing your video our family enjoys it.
As ghost trains go thats got to be the worst I've ever seen 😂😂😂😂
Random obscure information: the "camel saddle" is known to the old-timers as a "howdy", which is a corruption of the word "howdah". This also applies to the ones used for elephant rides.
A state fair marathon… a fairathon
I could not stop laughing when you were on that carousel horse. Too funny
Oh and I agree about smoked turkey legs tasting like ham
Scarecrows only work if you move them around the garden. If left in one place for too long its a perch.
It also helps to hang flashy things on them like silver ribbons or shiny CDs. A mounted whirley-gig works too.
Love the State Fair documentaries !!! Jacob !! Your simply the best!!
That Indy-500 looked pretty fast for being so small. The dark ride will probably be a lot darker once the sun goes down 🤣
Hi Jacob, im so enjoying these state fairs so much fun to watch so jealous of the hot sunny weather! The petting farm is my favourite & the camel too. Sending lots of love from the UK Stay safe & get some rest! ❤❤❤😊
no freaking way i missed you in my home town grrrrr
Oh my goodness, you were in my area...around here we pronounce it "Leb nun". I have a good friend on the fair board and could have hooked you up with vip stuff. Thank you for coming out and showcasing our fair, they work really hard on it each year.
Haunted house dark rides at fairs are a dying breed! My area’s traveling midway circuit that comes to all the fairs (Fiesta Shows) used to have both a haunted house walkthrough and a dark ride but they haven’t made an appearance at any fairs since 2019 and I fear they are gone for good. Also with the pigs pooping on the track, I don’t think I’ve ever watched a pig race where that DIDN’T happen, it is because they’ve been kept inside the trailer for a long time and don’t want to go inside, so they go as soon as they’re outside. They are smart animals and basically housetrain themselves.
love when you show us all the fair food lol
You made it! Take some time to rest and relax ❤
Yes starting my day with Carpetbagger!
Love the county fair vlogs!🙂
Congratulations on visiting five state fairs in five days!
The TN state fair brings back good memories. I was going to write about all of the big changes over the last decade, but you already said it all at the beginning.
Awesome thanks for sharing this been great this year can't wait for next year ❤️

YOU DO SUCH GREAT JOB. REAL CELEBRITY
Best 5 days ever!
Great videos all five state fairs.
GOODBYE SUMMER OF CAROUSELS!!!!!💃🏽
I keep waiting for a racing pig named "ELVIS PORKSLEY." 😃
Every time I hear him say "chaos reins" I am tempted to say "in the hall of the mountain king"
LOved the summer of caracals, great seeing all the varations and thank you for the 5 state fairs in five days content.
I used to be an adventurer like you, then I took a arrow to the knee.
These State fairs are awesome . This one is no exception. I did pick the wrong time to eat lunch during the pig races . Nice that you got to film on the rides . I always wondered what these turkey legs tasted like . The dark was not what I expected though . Great video . Keep Safe ❤Keep Well❤
Good video; I live nearby, and love this fair! The two fairs merged about 4-5 years ago. I actually know the guy who owns the DeLorean!
@captainscentsible3938 Yeah, it took him 7-8 years to find one, and it had sat in a garage for decades. He had to replace a lot of parts.
Ghost manor, more like Slasher manor 😂
Gonna miss seeing these daily been enjoying them so much . Keep up the great work jacob
Those are NOT kewpies they are mini baby dolls we had when we were kids in the 1950's n 1960's n I really loved them , cuz they were Barbies bros n sisters in my compound!!! Great memories!! Thanks for stimulating them!!!
Great series Jacob! I have immensely enjoyed seeing all the different state fairs. I have watched every single one of them!
Wow you really work so hard, very impressed, But rest a little , don,t want you to hit the wall, ❤❤
I love the state fair videos. I know you have been to one in PA, but if you want to come to the Bloomsburg Fair near Knoebel's I would love to buy your way in for you and Jen and parking.
The turkey leg ham flavor comes from how you brined it before smoking.
I am loving these State Fair vlogs so much fun love seeing all the cute animals and you got to ride a camel 😊
next year summer 2024 ride the fire loop at every chance !!! looks amazing ride we don't have such in England
yup! the LA County Fair is huge!
That Zierer Indy 500 coaster has been with the Riethhoffer Shows carnival since 1975 and I rode it in 1980 as a kid. There are very few still around much less ones that travel. It concerns me that some of their equipment and operations need improvement as seen in your video: malfunctioning carrousel horse, crummy interior of haunted house ride, employees not paying attention, paint and new padding/seats needed (Indy 500) that's not from this year's use. I'm sure their margins are tight but you see other traveling carnival companies like Ray Cammack Shows really putting in the extra effort.
But Reithoffer is the “Aristocrat of Show Business” 😅. Their Orange Unit plays the Canfield Fair near me and the rides there aren’t much better. We don’t even get a dark ride. 🤷🏻♂️. But it is interesting to see that Flitzer. I believe they have 2 still. Haven’t had a chance to ride one since the 80’s!
Ha Ha! What I mainly remember is paying for two fountain drinks and all they did was split a 15 cent can of coke into two ice filled cups right in front of me on the counter. The least they could of done was rip me off where I wouldn't see it.@@RayPVideos
That carrousle horse wanted you to remember him.
I love Tennessee more now that I know they invented Mountain Dew !!!
Plus I love Pigeon Forge and Sevierville as one of my favorite vacation spots I go to when I can afford a vacation. Just love all of Tennessee..
Nashville was a blast too ...went to country music hall of fame and our cabin in the woods plus Titantic and Crime museum the last time we were down there from Detroit Michigan area and my phone rebooted itself up in the mountains and crashed my memory drive , causing me to lose over 5000 pics including my vacation pics . Still upset about that years later
Sevierville Tennessee has one coming up. Also Oklahoma and Arkansas is having one come up it’s combined together and it’s right on the OK and ARK border
I use to live in Nashville th for 30 years 1987 thru 2014 I work at the Tennessee state fair in Nashville the owner was jim Murphy mighty blue grass shows I retired from that he retired in 2019 didn't give his show to he kids because they would of ran in into the ground he sold his show to bell med midway in Tampa and mayor Karl Dean during that time he wanted to close the old fair ground in Nashville for some reason and it join the Wilson fair now I be away from Nashville for 10 years now I need to visit it soon great video
I can understand why mayor Karl Dean closed down the Nashville fair grounds it's over 100 years old over half of the buildings were falling apart and disrepair
hi there Jacob 👋😊 it's all Fair love and war. Lol i love the fairs. Its a state fair its a great state fair. Thanks for sharing.🤓📸👍
The Old Mill at the Kansas State Fair is one of the best. Sept 8
I liked the guy that made up all the funny celebrity pig names
Hey Jacob, I just love watching your videos and seeing the places you go to. I like watching you on the carnival rides. Here's a place you should check out. Its called Bearizona in Arizona. Lots of bears and other wildlife like deer, bison, bighorn sheep, mountain goats, river otters, arctic wolves and more. You can do a drive through and a walk through tour. You would like it. Hope you do go there. I would love to see your take on Bearizona.
I really enjoy your travels, the fairs, the rides, the food, and the haunted houses that scares Jacob. 😂😂
What a fun state fair
Gotta come to GRAY tennesse next week for the Appalachian fair. It's a big fair in east Tennessee near bristol tn.
This was great! Thanks so much!
Thank you again for another great fair day my friend
State fairs are much better than state unfairs.
The Tennessee State Fair actually move to Lebanon over parking issues, if the fairground was going to be upgraded. It has not been redeveloped. The fair moved in 2019.
The Nashville speedway in the fairgrounds are on one property, there have been no upgrades, but we still do have a fair, it is now called the Nashville Fair. It is held over the time of Labor Day weekend, which is the same time as the the State Fair used to be.
I have lived in Nashville area for 30+ years
Haha, that other camel incident I believe was also in Tennessee, at that Safari
