found lenovo laptop same price for same spec only different is processor... glad i choose amd 👍.. 1125g4 more expensive variant with more core..
ok so it looks like overall AMD wins
I have to buy a new Laptop for my mother she wants a new one 17" nice and big 500$ budget she only uses it at home. The old one was always slow and weak and now it has more problems.
Both of the 5300U and i5 115G4 are in Laptops for under 500$ and I think I will choose AMD because it has more cores, easily 2x the multicore performance of the Intel Processor and a strong Vega 6 iGPU.
She would like to have a Macbook but they are too small and expensive.
There is an HP Laptop with this AMD Processor, 8gb 3200mhz memory and 256gb m.2 PCIe SSD for 440$. I think that one will be the fastest with the 5300U Processor and very fast SSD.

What does just saying i3 11th gen tell you?
both the
i3 1115G4 and i3 1125g4 are 11th gen but the i3 1125g4 scores twice as high in PassMark.

1125g4 is better oftion but not 1115g4
@@ridoyhasan8238 1115G4 would smoke ryzen 3 at gaming and editing and turbo boosting and single threads are higher, that all that matters

Hp 14s ryzen 3 user here, i use this laptop and i can say it can handle coding (microsoft visual 2019), my recomendation is to upgrade ram to 12~16gb...it consumes a lot of ram up to approx. 5.1gb depends on how many application you run it will go up to ~7gb
