Small countries are overall known to have fewer corruption excluding a few. In China it is more ingrained in their culture. You know what corruption is called in China? It’s called Tea money. I live in Thailand and corruption is rampant here, but I also love the people and its’ culture; just like China and the US.

I agree; I'm in Oklahoma and not very fond of seeing so many acres of land here being sold to the Chinese, especially when we have so many military bases in the state & considering that nobody knows what they're putting on or building on any of that property. With the way China is over wanting to expand what they "own" or think they own, time will only tell if the world will end up in a war with them or not....or if they'll step in and decide to help Russia in Ukraine.
Exactly for example you can open a Business in the Philippines but you cannot own the land or the building. I know because I live in a town with my grandpas farm that I work on every summer, and it gets harder and harder each year to keep it. Back then it wasn’t near as bad, but nowadays we have local farms going bankrupt everywhere around us, and being bought up by bigger corporations. Really sad but true. Also these stupid lockdowns the government was forcing caused lots of farmers huge negative hits, some had to completely dump their crop because of it. Sad.
