Wow. Thank you so much for liking. I actually have a micro film that I am going to be shooting with my friend once quarantine is done. Also, I'm using an S20 Ultra as my camera because I don't have a real camera. Do you think a phone would work?
@@noahbenchimol4210 Smartphone cameras are decent enough for a lot of stuff. The quality is good and also the stabilization that you get is pretty handy ! Go for it man will be waiting to see your film !
Trust me this is my film school.... I've made 2 short films and countless skits on my channel, all thanks to this channel❤️ Love D4Darious all the way from Nigeria🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬
Been following you for a long time bruh, I'm happy that you reached such a high number of subs and I hope you'll hit the million soon. You started from scratch and have kept the same vibe. Unlike some other popular RUclipsrs out there. Keep it up!
Love the studio, man! I'm excited for more filmmaking videos in the future, you helped me in my early beginner filmmaking career. Keep doing what you're doing!
3 years ago this guy taught me not to worry about equipment and to work with what I've got. Never looked back. You are highly appreciated man. Big fan from South Africa
I love your setup! I've been watching your channel for years and you're one of the big inspirations that actually helped me take a decision to switch career from architecture to filmmaking, keep it up fam :D
Awesome studio bro, whenever I wanted to learn something new, I always go to your channel. Your an inspiration to filmmakers who are just starting out like me!
I love how organized you are. As a filmmaker, you need to be. Thanks for showing us the studio Darious. By the way, love the new style you've been intigrating into your videos.
now this video shows the new film maker that it is achievable. I like that you don't have all the expensive gear, but the quality produced is still top notch.
I use a tackle box that was originally designed for fisherman to hold all my screws pins and small pieces I relie on everyday. I like it for my studio but also because I can easily take it with me on a shoot. Great video Darius. Looking forward to see what you do next.
This is how it should be! Focus on creating, not on the gear! I have fallen in that rabit hole of collecting gear and it's not good for my sole... So, thank you D4Darious for this lesson! Always enjoying your videos!
I hope everyone is healthy and well. First, thanks to D4Darious to sparking my imagination toward filmmaking. Just a thought for D4Darious to explore youtube to find independent short films with under one thousand views. As we try to support independent stores today. To maybe find some short films nobody would ever find, and those short films could sometimes be very inspirational! Thank You.
This is such an inspirational video!!! I just recently started my channel where I post quick and effective workouts. Definitely gonna keep working hard to grow bigger!!!
Its true in my situation, I do not have everything D4darious has and not enough space to storage my kit. But I am still writing and filming some places to keep up my creativity. i have Torguard VPN. They're good too.
Yoooo Darious! I'm really looking forward to buying your sound course - I've just signed up to you mailing list so I get a notification as soon as it drops. I've been learning filmmaking from you for years now so I'm sure the course will be packed with value. Keep up the good work b! 👍🏾
Wow! This makes me feel like you can do anything, I have alot to get but I am going to use what I have and role with it. My Cannon 60d is fine for now. Thank you for this video.
Nice. Looks nice, keeps attention and I like the content.. Moral of the story? A small room and working with what you have as a vehicle for the content /person beats a huge budget look and equipment any day. Great job Darius..
From all the producer that I been watching just to get a clue how to make a short film. Well now I found D4Darious, I just stock myself here, and keep learning (I'm still learning 😁) Well I recommend you to stay here too , make your short films awesome, bouyaaaaaaaa. Keep it up men👍
I just picked up the Samsung U28R55 for $370. It’s a great budget 4K display, you can always pay more and get more but for this price I CANNOT complain, the colors are great and it’s all around really good. I haven’t done any projects on it yet but I will very soon.
Strong recommendation for Samsung UR55 for a 4K monitor. It’s a 4K / 28’’ / IPS panel / 60hz / HDR / and FreeSync. It’s got multiple HDMI ports for multiple devices and super thin bezels. It’s VESA wall mountable 75mm x 75mm. Plus at $349.00 brand new it was one of the cheapest 4K displays I could find on Best Buy. I just purchased it myself and I couldn’t be happier.
I usually find studio tours to be real bottom of the barrel (creativity wise) videos that are there because people are out of stuff to film or New Gear = clicks... but man Darious I've been watching your stuff for almost 5 years and it never disappoints.
4K (UHD actually) monitor recommendation: LG 32UK550-B. $399-ish USD. Actual 10-bit (not 8-bit + FRC like a lot of monitors). Covers 95% of DCI-P3 colour space (therefore 100% of sRGB and Adobe RGB), and comes factory calibrated, so it's pretty good for colour grading. It is also HDR10 capable, but don't buy it for that. The measly 300 nit brightness barely make the HDR look different than the SDR.
9:23 Canon 60D - I still use this camera too. I think I need to get that lens though. My collection of lenses are 18-135mm kit, 50mm 1.8, 24-70mm 2.8, and a 55-200mm. I think I need to go ahead and get something with a focal length down around 10 or 11mm.
Cool to see around the place:) Who makes the anamorphic lenses? Or will we find out in the next video? Just interested to find out about different models as most are super expensive.
This Man inspires me to make films. Keep it up 💪

Wow... thanks for the studio tour! Loved it! And glad to hear you are "...PC all the way."

So true, started out with just my phone, now I got so much stuff, but always trying to sell the ones I don't use much. No waste! Thanks for the tour!
I love your setup! I've been watching your channel for years and you're one of the big inspirations that actually helped me take a decision to switch career from architecture to filmmaking, keep it up fam :D
I wonder since you spoke about finance during Unsound how much is your debt at the moment?
Great set-up Darious! Very organized and the wall looks great. The most iconic part of your channel :-)

Loved it D! It’s good to see a real workspace for once! Cheers!
Thorough tour, almost daunting. But inspiring... it shows hard work over time paying off.
Good stuff man! Gathering intel for my new space. Keep doing ya thing! 👍🏾
Thanks bro. Your a real inspiration. I’m starting to hop on RUclips and it’s fun. No real goal but to make content that is valuable. You da man!

Chris-chris. Thank you Fam. It seems like another life lol. Been out so long.
D4Darious I been trying to get in touch with you. I’m a photographer and I’ve been dabbling into videos.
I spent the bulk of today shooting a short I wrote, this video is a perfect reward.

Love this video man, I feel much better that I’m also like you with my 60D but am in the 4K game with a GoPro 7 and my ipohone 7 I’m trying lol
A gem channel of the film RUclips set
15:25 is the most inspirational part of this video. Now I can move on without feeling like crap with lack of equipment.
I loving this studio...love thr setup d4...
Love the 3 pod tripod! Best cheap tripod.
I would recommend an OLED Gaming Monitor, sure you don’t game but I’m sure it’s plenty powerful for editing.
The suri anamorphic lens looks like such a good lens
i miss the where's wally t-shirt

Did. I really appreciate a video like this. You are amazing organize. Simple but we'll build. I need a label machine xD
I sometimes work with a friend and you don't have idea how many times we have confused between gear.
I have the voigtlander 25mm for my gh5! It's my favourite lens for that camera, just a lovely look.
You utilised your space real good. Also a dream of mine to have a studio.
Harbor Freight makes some sweet affordable Pelican type cases that would probably fit your gimbal.
You should face the pins up on the batts needing a charge and the pins down that are gtg. Jk, awesome vid as always

Did you build that 50mm anamorphic? is it a 2x?
I did not. It's a Sirui lens.
Great video. Your studio is really awesome! :)
Highly recommend the lg 49 inch ultrawide, did a review on it, it's not 4k, but as a video editor, highly recommend it.

Think you spilled the beans on that Sirui 35mm. Can't find any info on it anywhere else on the internet 🤐
