I didn’t think I would like the pink and the black wall but I have to say, I’ve come to really like it. Your new shelves with your flamingos brings the pink walls right together with the black.
Jeffrey babes, I got something to say about that chair…put it back! Reopen that space! Lol! It is more visually pleasing sitting against the wall. Place a smaller, round cocktail table in between and move all those rectangular, angled tables right on outta there!! Get a slightly smaller silk plant that doesn’t take up so much real-estate and hang that new light fixture. Since this is off of your living room, this space isn’t really used for extra seating but it’s meant to draw the eye towards that fabulous piece of art. Both chairs under that painting provides a more balanced look. And btw, I don’t think the pink wall color is necessarily wrong but perhaps toning it down a bit will prevent it keep overwhelming the space. Thanks for sharing your home with us!! It’s really coming together!!

Jeffrey, no worries, the little geckos are really quite beneficial as they eat insects and mosquitos......will help keep your lanai bug free. We often leave our door open to the lanai and they never come in the house, they'd much rather be outside where they can catch the passing bug. Love little Stella, what a treasure!

Jeffrey, I love your tv stand with your flamingo collection displayed so well. I do like the different levels... gives it an MCM look like those mirrored wall shelf pieces. We have the little critters here too... we call them geckos... and I took in my outdoor wreath to change the big summer ribbon for a fall ribbon. I was sitting and felt something graze my leg. There was a gecko hiding in my wreath and he jumped out! He scurried away and I found him later in my bathtub. I was able to make a tube from a piece of printer paper, get him in there, and cover/fold the ends with my hands. I hurried to my door and let him go. Since I've been here 4 years now, they don't scare me. They are harmless anyway! Stella really does love that salt 'n pepper rug 💖😎😄🌻
Always enjoy your videos!! The broom is a good guide to get the lizards off the porch altho the anole lizards are harmless and actually eat a variety of insects. They like to bask in the hot sun on my porch and I find they're cute w personality and change color! At night the Mediterranean geckos climb the wall w sticky feet to the porch light to eat all the night insects and moths that hover around the light, but in cool weather, they can't move. I loved learning about the FL habitat ... my yard and trees have been homes for the blue land crab, gopher tortoise and a tree full waxwings and a family of parrots that come every year heading to even warmer climates. BUT spiders and snakes ?? ... THEY give me the shivers!!! No Thanks!! lol I'll be getting some sticky foam.. a great idea!! Thanks again Jeffrey!!

Haven’t tuned in for a while. That’s what happens when you live in humid Florida. Those critters creep me. At least they don’t grow up to be alligators lol 🐊. I like your flamingo stand. Keep the pink wall. It accentuates your flamingos 🦩🦩. Is the wall black or a dark green? Try switching the green stand in the corner section. Place it against the wall where you have the big picture frame. Place the chairs in front of the shelf facing each other. You might put a pink rug to pop color like where you have the tv.

Great tv stand! House is looking good. Saving a lizard! I saved a grasshopper that got his leg stuck in the crack of my car hood. Took me about five minutes to find the latch release. I just could not leave it there…ugh.
Lol, anoles are a fact of life in Florida Jeffrey; only thing is, they won't hang out where there isn't food & food means bugs. Ants, mosquitoes, palmetto bugs & very often termites. I even saw one once leap straight up in the air to grab a bug flying by. Here in South Florida we've had an explosion of iguanas, I enjoy how prehistoric they look but not are they destructive!
It's been my experience that those little lizards love to lay their tiny eggs inside the folds of fabric cushions. I'm sure you don't have any now since you inspected. The white eggs are about 3/8" and look like they'd be perfect in a cute mini Easter basket. 🦎🥚🐰
I collect vintage Flamingos as well. I love your new piece of furniture. It showcases your collection beautifully. I really like the pink. Keep each of the “columns” that flank the black, pink. It picks up the pink in your flamingos. Love everything you have done.
Hahaha! Good luck keeping the lizards out. They get in all the time down here in South Florida. My son's cat used to catch them and play with them to death.
