    Another good haul PT - fascinated by the Fenton pieces - I'm sitting on about 25-30 pieces (many opalescents) from my previous life with maybe a half dozen or so listed including a Fenton dealer sign. Fenton, Lladro, Waterford, Baccarat, signed art glass, etc. can be very lucrative. I think there will come a time when collectors of these things will cease to exist and the younger generations won't care about them. I still think it's a good opportunity to flip them - at least for now. Well done again my friend!!

    Sir Mr. Prime time, you left 4 metal flower frogs in front of the Shamrock plates. As you are getting into more flowers these are used in ikebana bowls to hold stems up. Highly searched for, will sale for sure. Just wanted to share. Thanks.

      @PrimeTimeTreasureHunter it's a learning experience. As I want to be a mix medium for Reselling, I'm learning a lot from you on what to look for on items other than girl stuff. Your tips for cleaning items have also been a great additional wealth of knowledge. Happy hunting and please continue what you do!!

    Just so you know the glass with the liquid it's an old barometer. Not used for scenting the room. When the pressure go up it can spillover.

    Hi Dominic! I’m still watching, but, even though I don’t really source for breakables anymore, I always like to see the Fenton Art Glass. I used to watch Bill Fenton on QVC, and he was just so sweet, and of course had great stories about his products and the artists. Already liked and shared, hugs to Daisy, and take care! Thanks Prime Time! 🤗 🐶

    FYI on Fenton for you. Before 1972 Fenton was not marked with the oval. Fenton had stickers on their pieces which usually wore off through cleaning. By 1975, all Fenton had the oval. The numeral 8 was put inside the oval for some pieces made in the 1980s, 9 in the 90s, and 0 in the 2000s. There are other marks on their pieces. I got my info out of Worman's Fenton Glass 2nd Edition., author is Mark Moran, the book has a date from 2007. Side note--not all Hobnail is Fenton. There were other makers as well. That's why I have 3 books for Identification of the earlier pieces. My favorite Fenton is the turquoise opalescent.

      Usually just airing it out and getting it into a dryer environment helps out, not buying ones with a horrid odor, and don't worry about a slight musty odor bc most book buyers like it. :)

    • @silviahigh
      @silviahigh 11 месяцев назад +1

      Let it sit outside in the sun for a day or two. That helps reduce the odor.
