I saw Tim perform this song way back in 1980 at the Agora in Columbus Ohio, the show is still so vivid in my mind, in fact he sweated on me from the stage!
Well said. Tim Curry is utterly amazing. His voice or so smooth, yet husky and he sings with so much passion! When he sings it sets shivers all the way down my spine and back up again. Anywone who disagrees is like on there own against millions of Tim Curry fans.. Tim is awesome and has saved my life with his music and inspired me in so many ways.. as a sixteen yr old girl studying musical theatre. Tim is much loved all over the world.
Tim Curry has the sexiest voice Ive ever heard, He is my favorite male singer, so much soul, heart, feeling...That man is truly beautiful....His song sloe gin and something short of paradise and s.so.s damn, I could go on...Thank you Tim for gracing the world with your heavenly voice..
I don't know how to say this soooo im just gonna say it.*takes deep breath* I LOVE TIM CURRY SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he's just pure brilliant and anyone who disagrees well lets just say it's your funeral. GOOD JOB TIM! YOUR ARE THE BEST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually, believe it or not, but Tim doesn't have the vocal range to have been in Phantom of the Opera. Phantom of the Opera was written for a high Tenor, Tim is a Baritone. Although the thought of him playing it is magnificent, it's just not for him. Plus, in an interview he did in 1988, one of his fans actually asked him personally what he thinks about Andrew Lloyd Webber, you can tell from his response that he really isn't interested in Webber's works.
I find it rather awkward and quintessential that for someone who isn't interested in Andrew Lloyd Webber's musicals, Tim goes ahead and makes something like this song which sounds very Phantom of the Opera like!
@@micaylab1 doesn't really sound much like Phantom of the Opera to me, but to each their own. FYI, Tim didn't even write that song. Tim's take on this song added more string, percussion, and harmony onto it, but other than that, the melody is the same as Cilla Black sung it.
"Anyone who had a heart" , from the song writer Burt Bacharah. Yep! Good choice Tim. Best song ever! Very romantic ! that sweet who giving him the red flower . tim curry you are the most amazing voice that I ever heard.I could crying like a baby . How touching. beautiful voice like a opera! Tim looks like a prince. Not the singer "Prince". I mean tim looks like a real a prince charming.
especially in "birds of a feather"I FEEL his voice deep inside me..there has been no other voice in the 50 years iv been alive that could ever do that to me.. amazing...now go and listen to "birds of a feather"
Well said Tim Curry is utterly amazing. Anyone who disagrees should just pee off right now, they obviously don't know ANYTHING about good music and they don't know much about vocals!
Una muy linda voz. Lo que fallaron a veces fue la letra de sus canciones o la composición. Quizá si hubiera buscado un buen compositor en aquel tiempo, en lugar de un gran actor tendríamos a un ganador de grammys.
MrAssapopolous that's what makes that song kind of awkward to listen to; nevertheless it still surely is one heck of a soul-grabbing, moving song. Tim Curry and Dick Wagner were truly amazing together.
Whoever it is that went to this concert and filmed it is an absolute hero for capturing this ❤

Tim would've been a Brilliant Phantom of the Opera performer!
