This behind the scenes look at Cane Creek Cycling Components give an inside look to how they have been making and manufacturing bicycle parts in the US for decades. Based in Asheville, North Caroline, this passionate group of individuals work hard to create unique alternatives to cycling components.
As part of our Behind the Brands visit, we went for a ride on some of Cane Creek's favorite and best bike trails in the Pisgah National Forest. Stay to the end to see the bikes put to the test.

I know that you guys probably get lots of rider feedback but why not make a dual crown 160-180mm Enduro fork? It would be the first one, outside of a custom Manitou dorado some guy made to test against a single crown.

This type of behind the scenes stuff has been missing in the MTB industry. Keep it up! These are so good. Is there a Fox Factory Asheville headquarters coming soon?

It's actually been missing from all industries. I am buying some cane creek gear specifically because they explain it all on their website, but it would be cool to be able to get exploded diagrams full engineering style, it can be done as is.
Hellbenders are cool af, so like, buy

I thought about writing a comment about the Fox video, but then didn't feel that I should write something too critical (but I was really disappointed and put off), not about the video, but about the vibes in the company. This one couldn't be more different. People at Cane Creek seem to be amazing, congrats to a great video, but even more so congrats to Cane Creek to a wonderful team!

Great video Wolf! I used to race XC in the 80's and started running a Cloud 9 on my Ventana 26"'er. I got great Customer support back then and looking forward to being a Cane Creek Customer Again! I just installed a Dbl IR Air last week and it's way superior to the RT3 I replaced it with. Ca't wait to give a good proper ride this week! Thanks Loam Wolf!

I have a Cane Creek BMX bike. It's actually a 24" aluminum Schwinn frame, with Cane creek headset, v-brakes, rims, hubs, and all the frame stickers (no Schwinn anywhere) . I bought it used from a shop in Asheville, pretty sure it belonged to a Cane Creek employee.

17:46 Cane Creek lefty fork? Probably just cane creek looking at the internals of a standard cannondale lefty ocho, but could be something.

Made a dedicated trip to Pisgah last year. Should have checked the ebike bans before I went. Luckily kanuga and Cherokee had good riding for ebikes available.

We’ve had and heard many others with similar issues, and for that reason we’re working on a new series about EBike friendly destinations, similar to our Bike Park Review Tour. Hopefully it helps give some people good spots to ride and avoid costly travel just to get bad news.

@@TheLoamWolf Yea that would be awesome. I'm spoiled here in Arkansas since it's all ebike friendly. That won't change either since the Walton grandsons ride them and made sure they are allowed when giving trail grants.

@@TheLoamWolf I think it was tasteful enough and im critical as hell of cool stuff trying to be goofy. Y'all are doin great...just wish you would have continually kept asking them "...and where's the Eewing titanium crank welding room, is it this one *opening random doors*". hahah...god they would have hated that. ($1,000 ti-cranks made in Taiwan that everyone always wonders if they're at *least* USA made for the clinically bogus price tag from Cane-Creek)
