These are the best vids I have seen in weeks , you made me laugh , cry , and they are so relaxing and informative, never flown a remote aircraft in my life excel for a few drones indoors , they lasted about a week tops before crashing with unrepairable breaks … keep up the good work.. Carnot wait to see the jet…
@@bigbristv I have flown this one on my channel as well, I will say mid mode works best if you’re not confident in expert, beginner mode did not have nearly enough rates to turn lol esp in a tight space. Mid won’t let it roll over at least on mine it doesn’t, so I keep it there if it’s a lil windy
@lewiemotorsports3616 in beginner mode I had very little authority but I will say it was fast. The nose gear didn't stay in well, I had to tape it. I loved the way it looks, but since I have the big boy....
I’m enjoying watching your journey man. Just note that the inner hole on control horn that’s on the control surface would give more throw. If there’s multiple holes on the servo arm then you’d put it on the outer hole. If you’re aiming for more torque/leverage then it’s opposite.
@@bigbristv I got a volantex 400mm and it’s setup perfectly. They’re resilient, I’ve nosed into the ground like 5 times. One crash forced the rod all the way past the z bend where the horn was positioned in the middle of the rod. Just forced it back in and threw it up again lol
For more authority on the controls, choose the hole that's closest to the body. If you make that adjustment on the ailerons, be prepared to see the gyro over compensate, making the plane rock from side to side in flight. keep making adjustments until you find the sweet spot!
A nice park flyer, I think get one good transmitter and stick with it. When your using different ones the muscle memory is not there. That's what I do I have one transmitter for 19 racing and freestyle drones and a few planes.
@bigbristv I used FRSKY back in 2015 but now I used Radiomaster check it out. The mixing and functions you can do is a big help and you can watch videos to learn some tips.
If that's your wife speaking in the background at odd times then II want to swap her for mine. Mine won't let me buy half as many planes, nevermind in only 3 weeks !! What's your secret? 😂

I really appreciate this, 🙏 thank you so much!
Good stuff, excited for your future flights ✈️ !
Thanks! As long as I remember to keep me airspeed up 😉
This is the best micro hands down. Easy to fly in expert mode even.
I didn't think so.

@@bigbristv oh yeah the FMS version 1000% better. The retracts the flaps and it’s on the smaller side, perfect warbird.

Thanks bro. I think those little ones would break if I were to mess with them. Similar to the big plane, just tiny.

@wayne8300 I actually might get another one. They are pretty tough
Nice one, Bris! I really like that prop saver feature on the micro 👍
