I created a zoom to selected Action this way: select the object; insert a menu item: artboard to selection; Ctrl + 0 to fit the artboard to screen; them ctrl + z to undo the artboard to selection.
To those saying SplitPath doesn't work, I've just tried it and it works with lines, shapes, and hand-drawn paths. Just make sure all these don't have the stroke active, because that might negatively affect the final result. If you have a fill and no stroke, everything should work just fine.
I think you could record an action for the zoom and center ? So then just have the action panel open, select your object and click on the action you recorded that does the “file-> scripts-> zoom and center” click
Sir when I apply workspace in illustrator like swatches gradient, path finder etc. and when I shut the illustrator off then the setup of workspace gets vanished. like I have installed it newly so how this problem will get fixed?
That zoom script is absolutely useless. Just press "z" on your keyboard and drag the magnifier around the shape you want to zoom into. Infinitely easier. Zoom out to canvas? Press ctrl/command 0 (zero); at 100 %? Ctrl/command 1. Just like that.
Hi. Of course you can do zoom with a mouse. But by adding a hotkey to the script, the selected object will be zoomed to the maximum size on center of the screen. And an important option in the script, when the selection is empty, is "All in Document". It scales the screen view to show us the paths that we forgot outside the Artboard somewhere on the edge of the Adobe Illustrator canvas. CMD + 0 - it's the standard zoom of current Artboard in document.

2:49 in inkscape if we wanted to that we can just press 3
I still would use Ai over Inkscape for my designs each and every time though - personal preference
