I grew up on ACDC. I still listen to them everyday.
Powerage was highly underrated. My go to old days album.
Powerage is a stone cold classic. Probably the best from the Bon Scott era.

I'm 38 years old so AC/DC is just a little bit past my time. But not by much. I took Joey's word today and I went back and listened to this album and watched some of the videos from it and OMFG. Thank you so much! Joey, early Angus is freaking out of this world.

If you love AC/DC then try out the full catalog of led zeppelin, no other rock band competes with LZ in my opinion.

I’m 22 years old today. When I heard AC/DC for the first time as a young teen it felt my whole body was going to burst into fireworks. If I wasn’t for Angus I would have never picked up the guitar and forever changed my life.
I found the movie Let There Be Rock at the bottom of a Walmart $5 movie bin. One of the best bin finds ever.
Overdose is one of my favs, just ballsy, gutsy AC/DC

The album that got me into AC/DC, 20 years ago. Overdose is definitely the greatest song on the album. So raw, so real! Mad respect, Joey.

ACDC are by far my favourite band, going to see them in Wembley and Paris on their next tour. Already seen them 4 times. I listen to them every without fail.

The Let There Be Rock album is often overlooked due to the fact that so many of their staple early live songs came directly from that album.
The thrilling parts are the songs that they hardly played live, such as the opener Go Down, followed by Dog Eat Dog, and midway through the album you’ve got Overdose, all three great and underrated songs that unless you had boughten the album you wouldn’t have known the songs existed for a time.
A solid album of classics and a splash of vinegar and blood.
Bon had so many good songs! "Rock and roll singer" is amazing! Jailbreak, Ride on, so many! I'm a huge Bon Scott fan! The best acdc songs are Bon Scott! Amazing voice and just the way he was. A true rock and Rolla.
This album, like the Ramones from the same era never lifts a foot off the gas pedal. All Killer No Filler! Rock on Joey!

One of the best albums ever by any band.
One of the few albums in music history I consider to be perfect from the first note to the last.
I saw them in Detroit for the Rock or Bust tour. I think Powerage is unfiltered AC/DC with Bon’s lyrical ability on full display. Down Payment Blues is a clear example, but my favorite is Gone Shootin.

Three songs off this album have been a staple in their setlist since the album came out: let there be rock, hell aint a bad place to be, and whole lotta rosie. In 2008 they even played Dog eat dog too.

First album I ever bought, 2nd hand in 1980, was lucky enough to get the original release with the original side 2 which starts with overdose then into crabsody in blue….should never have been dropped for the US market

Wow, so agree with you. Powerage is my all time favourite album. This one is my second. Great taste Joey. The reason these albums stand out is that they’re raw. Vanda and Young left everything in without cleaning it up. They left in the feedback etc. I’m two years older than you and had never heard anything like this at that time.
Been listening to these motherfuckers for ever. Bon Scott is the greatest rock lead singer of all time . Great band and they said their live act in the mid to late 70’s was awesome and none of the big bands wanted them opening for them as they blew audiences away .
First concert I was ever at was AC-DC Back in Black tour Glasgow 2 Nov. I was 9.. almost 10.

Fact, Angus dresses in a school boy uniform on stage because when they started out he would go straight to their band practice from school and would rehearse/play in his school uniform. So one of the guys said he should wear it when they played gigs, so he did!
