In Norway it was so nice to chat to her Mum, Sara and I was so close to the stage. She even saw the shirts we were wearing with her face on them and stopped to lean over and thank us - just awesome.

You are also lucky to be going to a concert with Angelina Jordan. I was at a concert with her last year, with my 27-year-old daughter. It was so overwhelming to get Angelina's music and her spirit so close. It's so pure!

Great to see you recovering from such a disruptive event in your life. I hope that somewhere in all of that there was a silver lining, or two. I am excited to be going to her concert in New Hampshire, as well. Last summer I was able to pull off a trip to Norway for her July concerts there. I welcome the easy trip form upstate New York to Hew Hampshire this time.
So good to see you again, Nate. And great to see and hear how well you are doing despite that horrific accident. It must have been a weird experience. Waking up in a hospital bed like that, all wired up, with absolutely no recollection of how you got there or where you are. But you know what they say; what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I have missed your Angelina reactions, even though I haven't missed any of them. You have this exceptional way of describing how you feel when listening to her, which resonates incredibly well with me. I guess it does with all of her fans to be honest. I guess that's why we are fans, right ? I am super happy for you, that you get to see her in concert in September. I saw her at Kurbadhagen here in Norway exactly one year ago (July 10th, when she was exactly to the date 16,5 years old), and it is by far the greatest musical experience of my life. I really hope that the same will be true for you as well. I am pretty confident that it will, truth be told 🙂 And I REALLY hope that you will get that one moment of contact with her. I didn't really have that myself, despite standing no more than 15 meters away from her. I guess she must have looked at me when I did my hand stand, but I couldn't see it because of the weird perspective. Hi Nate. I'm so glad to see you fully recovering from your accident. I have enjoyed your reactions and I'm glad you're back doing all the things you love. I'm going to see Angelina perform in Portsmouth as well. There are rumors that there will be a meeting for other Angels during the day before the concert. You might enjoy meeting other kindred spirits. Also there is a nice jazz club called Jimmy's Jazz and Bues Club on Congress Street near The Music Hall you might be interested in after the concert. I recently had surgery and AJ's music really helped me with my recovery. Her singing has a very healing quality to it as you mentioned. She has helped me overcome the grief of losing my wife of fifty years, given me hope to become whole again and now to just enjoy the time I have left to live. And to try to be a better person. Thanks for this, Nate. You give so much, while enduring so much. I was hanging on every word. Also, your reaction to Angelina and her performance here was so familiar to me. I had never much cared for this song until Angelina did it at age 13. That caught my attention. Her honing in on it over the years since have actually made it into a song I can look forward to hearing (from her). Also, your comment about her not rushing a song was something I first noticed years ago when I heard her sing "Bang, Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" on NGT. I was sure she would force the ending but was astonished at the pace she maintained in closing it out. I was new to her at the time and didn't fully realize her abilities. One of her special gifts is the ability to grab my focus and make me listen to her intently but with great calm and peace, in a place I had never known before. I'm so thankful you are still with us and willing to share. I wish you all the best.

I am so happy you healed so well, and I am a little happy you don't remember the accident because you might not want to ride your bike again, and riding a bike is too much fun. I love what you said about your daughter being 13 a few days ago, I feel the same about my daughters and there in their 40s. Yes, this song was kind of neutral for me as well until Angelina did it. She still does some of the older songs in her concerts. The concerts she did last year in Norway were a mix of old and new. I hope you have a wonderful time there, wish I could go but I am in the Philippines right now caring for my husband who has dementia. So I enjoy my art and I enjoy helping him.
Nate, I’m so sorry to hear about your accident, but also glad to hear about your miraculous recovery; I’m sure it has given you a new appreciation of life. I’m also gratified to hear that your accident hasn’t turned you off cycling; it is such a great activity for body and soul. I loved your reaction; you always give very emotionally deep reactions to Angelina and are able to put at least some of the feelings that I’m sure many of us share into words. Like you I’ll also be making my way to Portsmouth in September in order to experience Angelina, and my two daughters will be joining my husband and me from their respective colleges in New Hampshire and Vermont. I’ve tried exposing them all to Angelina and my youngest daughter has actually added some of her originals to her playlist, but overall all three of them think I’m obsessed and fan girling over her, and I keep telling them to just wait till they’ve experienced her live😊

I am glad that you are still affected by her aura. We may say hello in Portsmouth in September. My trip to NH is just 4 hours each way by car. Your recovery from the March accident is truly remarkable and I am happy to see you are able to carry on with your life.... which will no doubt include listening to AJ for many more years!

Hi nate, your a reaction specialist and my job is too rate your job. I see you have had highs & lows lived a regular life and been involved in unfortunately some rare or unusual events. My advice to you is don't be the person who stopped smoking & and goes rougue on the world. Be yourself just be aware. I share with you the feeling of waking up not knowing what happened when my lower heart stopped pumping to my upper heart. I ended up having 5 by pass open heart surgery in 2016. Hey I am still here. Hi Nate. I'm so glad to see you fully recovering from your accident. I have enjoyed your reactions and I'm glad you're back doing all the things you love. I'm going to see Angelina perform in Portsmouth as well. There are rumors that there will be a meeting for other Angels during the day before the concert. You might enjoy meeting other kindred spirits. Also there is a nice jazz club called Jimmy's Jazz and Bues Club on Congress Street near The Music Hall you might be interested in after the concert.
I recently had surgery and AJ's music really helped me with my recovery. Her singing has a very healing quality to it as you mentioned. She has helped me overcome the grief of losing my wife of fifty years, given me hope to become whole again and now to just enjoy the time I have left to live. And to try to be a better person.

Nate, I was really pleased to see there was a new video from you. I watched every second of it. You occupy a unique and special place in the AJ community. Your recovery from that accident is a miracle, thank the universe for that. Yes, Angelina affects us in profound ways usually reserved for religious figures, and I am an atheist. Thanks for this, Nate. You give so much, while enduring so much. I was hanging on every word. Also, your reaction to Angelina and her performance here was so familiar to me. I had never much cared for this song until Angelina did it at age 13. That caught my attention. Her honing in on it over the years since have actually made it into a song I can look forward to hearing (from her). Also, your comment about her not rushing a song was something I first noticed years ago when I heard her sing "Bang, Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)" on NGT. I was sure she would force the ending but was astonished at the pace she maintained in closing it out. I was new to her at the time and didn't fully realize her abilities. One of her special gifts is the ability to grab my focus and make me listen to her intently but with great calm and peace, in a place I had never known before. I'm so thankful you are still with us and willing to share. I wish you all the best.

I`ll say it`s a true blessing for you that you have even been abel to get your tickets to what might very well be one of the real great treats of you life, in september. I was lucky to see Angelina live last summer, and no doubt that it was an evening to remeber, - hopefully, for the rest of my days. It is pure magic when Angelina enters any stage, smiles and shares her joy and love, and starts breathing music.

I am so happy you healed so well, and I am a little happy you don't remember the accident because you might not want to ride your bike again, and riding a bike is too much fun. I love what you said about your daughter being 13 a few days ago, I feel the same about my daughters and there in their 40s. Yes, this song was kind of neutral for me as well until Angelina did it. She still does some of the older songs in her concerts. The concerts she did last year in Norway were a mix of old and new. I hope you have a wonderful time there, wish I could go but I am in the Philippines right now caring for my husband who has dementia. So I enjoy my art and I enjoy helping him.

Nate, I’m so sorry to hear about your accident, but also glad to hear about your miraculous recovery; I’m sure it has given you a new appreciation of life. I’m also gratified to hear that your accident hasn’t turned you off cycling; it is such a great activity for body and soul. I loved your reaction; you always give very emotionally deep reactions to Angelina and are able to put at least some of the feelings that I’m sure many of us share into words. Like you I’ll also be making my way to Portsmouth in September in order to experience Angelina, and my two daughters will be joining my husband and me from their respective colleges in New Hampshire and Vermont. I’ve tried exposing them all to Angelina and my youngest daughter has actually added some of her originals to her playlist, but overall all three of them think I’m obsessed and fan girling over her, and I keep telling them to just wait till they’ve experienced her live😊

Nate... I missed your AJ reactions and assumed you had moved on because of her evolution to covering newer music. I recall a gap a year or so ago when you seemed to lose interest in her newer work. I am glad that you are still affected by her aura. We may say hello in Portsmouth in September. My trip to NH is just 4 hours each way by car. Your recovery from the March accident is truly remarkable and I am happy to see you are able to carry on with your life.... which will no doubt include listening to AJ for many more years!
Nate, there is one absolute about Angelina that is indisputable and that is she is fearless. She has covered the best of the best and as you have said, many of her covers are better than the original.

About Angelina, the jazz classics and 'space' for example. Well, the space between your reactions to Angelina has a similar effect; I value them so much! Talking about using space in a performance; I wonder if you have seen Etta James performances at Montreaux in 1975. Hi nate, your a reaction specialist and my job is too rate your job. I see you have had highs & lows lived a regular life and been involved in unfortunately some rare or unusual events. My advice to you is don't be the person who stopped smoking & and goes rougue on the world. Be yourself just be aware. I share with you the feeling of waking up not knowing what happened when my lower heart stopped pumping to my upper heart. I ended up having 5 by pass open heart surgery in 2016. Hey I am still here. Peace my brother. I hope it's ok to share ❤

Marvelous. Tell you this. I saw her live last year. Kongsberg july 7th 2022. How was it like? Don't ask. No words except " it was the day of my life" and I'll bet my last penny it'll be the same for you. As much as we love her videos, nothing compares with her singing live on stage. You'll see. Love.😍🤩

It's hard to believe that all that damage occurred just four months before this video. Your recovery is amazing.
