#tesla #teslamodel3 #teslanews Quick overview of what to expect in the Tesla Spring Update (software version 2024.14.8). In two words, it's mind-blowing!
1:20 Thank you for an awesome video. In the future when you see the time on the screen to update you can tap the time several times to make the process faster
My EU Model 3 FSD 2019 HW3 (USS) didnt get tesla vision update, im furious! xD Same version update. But now the cameras see pedestrians and cycles and other cars much much better, huge improvement.
My model y got this update on May 8th and it did give me a month free FSD trial (here in Toronto). It also updated the map (around 6gb) next day. I love this huge update and visualization.
@@relativiTV Yea it is fantastic update. The main thing I love is full screen, then the big font for speedometer, trip progress. I suspect that the live visualization will go away once the fsd trial ends. Fyi they changed fsd into subscription type. Tesla charges 99$+tax per month for fsd (Canada).
I doubt that the large-screen visualization will go away once the FSD trial ends. This is because here in Europe, we don't have FSD. But we do have the large-screen visualisation.
Yes, absolutely. The rollout of v12 started on HW3 cars. As Elon himself says, the software was developed on HW3 vehicles, and is simply emulated on HW4 vehicles. x.com/elonmusk/status/1773882855762047301?t=2MEwa6_UbgoTtKcU1ScDCA&s=19
@@relativiTV I have a 2018 model 3 long range. My software version is on version 11.1 so which hardwear do I have. My dad thinks hardwear 3 but I'm not sure.
Regarding the lanes, I checked today while on the road. Even after the update, the lanes are still there while driving ... just as before. The speed shows up in large font, which is useful.

This is very useful information. Thank you!
I got 2024.14.9 installed yesterday. The release notes mention minor fixes. Hopefully, that fixes your Spotify issue ... when you get .9. 😂

Yes, the graphics have significantly improved. Your car has an AMD processor, I presume ...

Absolutely fabulous update, right?! 😍
I live in Germany, and hence no FSD free trial (sadly) at the moment.

For the software or hardwear.
You should be getting it on your car soon.

I haven’t gotten on my 2024 Model 3 or our 2024 Model Y. Uggg.
Stay expectant. You'll be pleasantly surprised when it does arrive. 😊
Do you have FSD? Asking as I want to know if they allowing full screen viz while driving for non FSD users. Thank You !!
No, I don't have FSD (here in Europe).
Is version 3 cars going to get this update? I'm on version 11.1 my Tesla is a 2018

@@nicolebradley3959, I'm certain that your car has hardware version 3 (HW 3.0).
@@relativiTV ok thx ❤ it's on version 11.1
4 hours wth should be like 15-20 minutes download and 25 to install
You're right. Not sure why it took 4 hours to download the software update. After the download, though, it took the usual 25 minutes to install.
still havent gotten the updated on mine...
It's worth the wait. I can guarantee you that. 😊
after the update I do not have the lanes displayed anymore on my display anyone else have any problems after the update and how do you get it fixed
By lanes, do you mean the lane markings while using AutoSteer, or do you mean the lane markings while using ParkAssist?
@@relativiTV I mean the lanes displayed when just driving, I never had autosteer on to my knowledge
Let me check when I'm back on the road. I'll come back to you soon.
I hope I have no issues I'm downloading right now

Self park is awesome
Does that need FSD capability as a prerequisite?
@@relativiTV I believe so
@@Patrick.Eckert thought it was Enhanced autopilot?
If SelfPark comes with Enhanced AutoPilot, this software update ought to contain SelfPark. Hmmm, another thing to check tonight.
Is this v12?
It is indeed V12
I need to sell my tesla and get me a bmw . Tesla thinks we are children addicted to iPads 😂🤦🏻♂️
But think about it ... it's nice to become a child again once in a while ... and Tesla does a good job with these goodies. 😂
I'd never go back to BMW. My Tesla gets better each year.

Dude drive the car, then do a video
I promise to do it before the weekend.
@M3NTALMAGIC, please check out my latest video with the promised drive
This guy sounds like an android.
It's my mike, buddy. I've gotta change it. But hey, thanks for the feedback. 👍
Meh apple sheep... I'll stick to android.
