Awww I absolutely LOVE the horse rescue !! If I win the lotto I would give tons of money to them !!! Americans owe a debt of gratitude to the horse but we’ve forgotten how much we depended on them !!!
One of my best friends, (now deceased) was a school janitor when I first met him at my marina. He was like this. I recall the first time I realized how much more he was than a janitor. We were having a beer at the dock when he got a call from a student who had an alcoholic, abusive father. He told the boy to try to keep calm, and stay safe, and he would be there soon. He asked me to come with him in case the cops weren't there before us, and called 911. Luckily, the cops did get there first, but the boy's mother was badly beaten. As I learned later, the boy never told anyone but Charlie about his situation, and when it got really bad he called Charlie first. And the fact that he had Charlie's number tells you something. Charlie was a 60 year old gay man - no kids. The kids at the school were his babies - he would do anything for them.
Ms Wilson you are phenomenal, and the way those kids love you, there are no words to describe it. You are one in a million; thank you for all that you do for those kids. Oh, you are an exceptional role model as well, showing your students how life can be many different jobs, but all for the good of others. Glad to know you Ms Wilson, you have touched my heart. Thanks Steve for telling us about this honorable story.

I think our governor of Florida- Ron DeSantis has one or one like him because he made this story to be known and he also let it be known who did this to that poor dog. Also dog owners get a tax break just like kids because he said fur babies matter also. Our governor is the BEST!!! He’s also helping pets in northwest North Carolina affect by hurricane Helene. Man I wish he would’ve went on to be president!

We must not allow him, nor any other torturer of animals get away with only a slap on the wrist. If any of you care, please fight that real justice be met! Keep this story alive, ask for better animal protection laws, continue to protest until he is given server jail time for his awful crimes. Don’t let Thea die in vain! Demand that her murderer is brought to justice. That’s what it means to be a Wildlife Warrior! #JusticeForWolves
