There was a lot of fear about how they would make Buggy but in the end, both the cast and the performance were perfect.

I _LOVE_ that you call the snail phone cute. Compared to the manga/anime, the ones in the live action are like little eldritch horrors that haunt your dreams. They are amazing, but _cute_ is a word I almost never hear said about them!
I guess I'm into weird stuff haha but what I really like about these snails is that they have different designs. The little one from ep 3 made cute sounds. Reminded me of my little rodent pets from past. I like all animals :)

An important clarification: Seawater doesn’t take away his power. It takes away his *strength.* In other words, it drains his energy so he can’t move, and that’s why he can’t swim.
17:50 No, Shanks didn’t eat a devil fruit. In the anime/manga version of this scene, Shanks *swam* out to rescue Luffy and is *in* the water when he scares the sea monster off. What Shanks has is something that won’t be explained for quite a long time(unless they do it earlier in the live action version).
Shanks didn't lose his arm. He bet it on a new generation 😉. It's hard to see early on, but Shanks was already making endgame moves in the opening chapters. He knew exactly what that devil fruit was that Luffy ate and he knew that Luffy was exactly the right person to use it. He might not have intended for that to happen, but after it did he knew exactly just how far it would go. I even have my suspicions that he kind of manipulated Luffy into eating it because he knew how to get that response from him. That's far from confirmed, but it does make sense. I like that idea, too, because it makes Shanks seem a little less incorruptible, which makes sense because at the end of the day he's a fucking pirate. The fact that he didn't eat it himself, which he could have because he doesn't have devil fruit powers, backs that up. He was waiting for the right person.
Don't you dare apologize for yelling Luffy's moves.....all great fighters call out their finishing moves! 😂
(Your reactions are great! If you could only see Buggy far down the old Grand Line....He's Oda's favorite character which says a lot about someone writing a story as deep as this...when they love the clown they created the most.)
My friend told me about this as well. I was really surprised. I couldn’t learn Buggy’s back story from the live action itself but I have a feeling season 2 will reveal his past and tell us more about the reasons behind his actions. I haven’t thought much about it before but since you’ve said Buggy is author’s fav character that means he must have a deep backstory. My friend also didn’t wanted to tell me spoilers so I’ll just wait quietly or read the manga ☺️

One piece is for me the best show I'm talking about the anime the series is super good but the anime is better because there is more story more details more information on the characters and The feelings are much stronger One Piece is the only show that has stories that break your heart like in AOT or Demon Slayer but on One Piece it's stronger because we know the characters better I won't spoil it for you, but all the crimes and misery that we see in our real world are in One Piece: murder, Tortoise physical or mental, corruption, manipulation, terrorism. Rape, genocide, slavery, suicide,... at one point One Piece gets us into dark subjects with stories that destroy the heart, everyone goes through it, children, old people Women, men, even animals have their share of misery. For me, this is the most complete story and I am very happy that there are more than 1000 episodes because there is still a lot to discover. There you go, I tried not to spoil anything for you, but it's the best way to explain One Piece to you without spoiling it.
You haven’t spoiled, no. Thank you for taking your time to explain this. I have quite a few people trying to convince me to watch the anime and you’re definitely one of them 😊 and I can see the appeal. It sounds great. I will give it a go at least privately. I’m not sure about recording reactions. I have to have a think about it. I’m definitely going to watch the remake next year hence why I’m thinking perhaps I should wait with reactions until the remake is released 🤔 because to fully record the whole series I would need few years 🙈
Considering how much you love the show, maybe you could do a reaction to the openings to the anime.;) Just a thought.^^
