Some of the best animated fights in the show, it's so amazing to watch. For sure Kakashi is the MVP here, it's pretty impressive how shikamaru incorporated him into the plan during the first half but afterwards it's all Kakashi's skill.

Shikamaru was using Hidan's scythe the same way we used the sword in Wii Sports Resort back in the day. Swing wildly and hope you hit something! I think Kakashi should have built a mud wall to block the fire and prevent any future attempt to use lightning attacks before anyone repositioned.

He adapt, he'll always have advantage in chakra nature against his opponent, can be a close, mid or long range combatant. Sasuke eyes, Kiba nose, Rock Lee taijutsu, applied with experience.
Yeah, they would be toast without Kakashi, this fight just puts emphasis on the difference between Chunin and some1 of Kakashis level.. I wish I could see Kakashis father "The white fang" in battle, he was said to make the Sannin pale in comparison Shikamaru became my top 5 favourite char after this fight, he might not be the most powerful, but among the most awesome still
To be honest, Team 10 is probably my favorite team. Team 7 is kinda dysfunctionall. Sasuke does his own thing, Sakura and Naruto keep obsessing over him, and when they aren't doing that, they only get along part of the time. Putting Sai in the mix helps a bit, but it's nearly like they are back to square one. They are just starting to get along with each other, but Sai has the potential of being the friend that Sasuke should have been, though ultimately, no on can take Gaara's place. Out of all the teams, Team 10 seems the most disciplined. Pick any of the other teams, and imagine one of the members coming up with a plan, and instructing the teammates to follow the orders without question. I can't see that. Also, Team 10 seems to be the most in tune with each other. Each knows their place, and knows when to put their abilities in play. Shikamaru is also fun to watch. The team itself seems to have so much history together, and they have plenty to talk about, when they bond over barbecue. The team isn't really full of powerhouses. They all have quirky abilities, but none of them are useless. They may not make craters in the Earth, but they are pretty formidable, when they act together.
My favorite naruto media, is a small side story about the daughter of asuma. Lived something similar and rely got me. But you have to finish the main story first to read. NARUTO: Konoha Shinden - Yukemuri Ninpouchou
kakuzu's ability is FREAKY for no reason 😭 you clocked in that each creature has their own chakra nature, way to go flexie! and that was an unnecessarily huge, gender-reveal party level of forest fire kakuzu just unleashed. kakashi continued to prove that he's HIM. god this fight goes SO hard
The worst thing about..WHEN hidan murdered Asuma..was that he didn't simply kill him..he MOCKED AND TORTURED HIM AS well..before doing it..there was a scene where.....HE MOVES THE SCYTHE AROUND..while it was stabbed in his stomach..to just make ASUMA feel that pain...and suffering...AND SHIKAMARU....just didn't have enough strength left to save asuma on time....OPPOSITE TO WHAT ASUMA DID FOR shikamaru IN OG NARUTO

Crushed these guys easily hahahhahahaha and healed everyone hahahhahahaha, The only reason these two lost is because they got too cocky and super confident, they could have ended that battle since second 1 but prefered to enjoy the fight and brag, Tsunade couldnt even against orochimaru without arms and kabuto nor much less with these two op akatsukis, The only way for shikamaru to win against hiddan was because he planned so hard and kakashi was there to help him out otherwise he would be toast like this reactor said, Tsunade is soo weak and slow she would never reached these guys, eventually she would wear out and these would fuck her, only a drop of blood and hiddan would stab her to death. These two forgave them in the first battle when were attacked all of the sudden, the one who saved them was none other than pain, these guys had all the oportunities in the world to fuck them but they had plot armour..

Once she overcame she beat orochimaru summon with a massive sword. She was fast enough to accurately pin manda down as it was moving to attack jiraiya with that massive sword And beat orochimaru with one hit after she pulled him by the tongue, which is what she would do to kakuzu when she grabs his limb and pulls him in and crush him and his hearts as she's way physically stronger and would over power him Katsuyu also could be a shield from all hearts attacks like how she shielded from Almighty push which is stronger. As well just spitting acid in all directions. Could be diversion acid attacks also None of them have no way of beating katsuyu Tsunade coming along would have made the fight less interesting bc with her there it would've ended faster. She's a bad match up for them
Yeah totally, plot armour for our beloved characters, anyway it was 8vs2 unfair, these 2 could have murdered them all and the only one who could have defeat them was the kyubi but still hard, they got super confident, talked too much and too cocky and that is what killed them. Sasori let himself be killed by his grandma, he didnt want to kill her and saw every move and still didnt move. Maybe at the start he fought to kill but after that he didnt
note that they wouldve failed instantly if kakashi didn't go. You guys do realize that shikamaru plan made no sense the whole time he never witnessed the blood was the key to that jutsu , hidan back was to him when he licked asuma blood. so they all wouldve died in this fight.
