All I can say is that Ecoflow got smart. They knew if they can keep these generators running the more independent we will be.
You're a fool and have no idea how internal combustion engines work. Probably just too lazy to learn
This will really come in handy during emergencies. When the fuel runs out I can still run it using propane.
What happens when there's no fuel to get the propane from shore to store?

I never thought of using propane to run a generator but this is awesome. I now have the choice to run it with propane or gas.
-You can store Propane a lot longer than unleaded
-It burns a lot cleaner so it will be better for engine life expectancy
-Still wouldn't run it it in doors but there will be less noxious fumes
Having 2 different fuels to run a generator is a good move, even if the propane runs out, I can always fill it up with gas.
This is the generator I would want to havr in case of a long power outage. I can fill it up with gas or use tanks of LPG to keep my home running with power.
I already have a 9600W tri-fuel generator and am looking to do a dual Ecoflow 30 amp home hookup with the generator as a backup to charge the batteries in the event of a longer outage (had a 3 day outage 2 years ago). I see that the Delta has the EV X-stream adapter for higher charging input. Is there a way to connect my 30 amp or even 50 amp generator connection to the EcoFlow unit to charge instead of one of the slow AC connections? If I have the dual unit plus either 2 or 4 battery backups (haven't decided on 2 or 4 yet), it could take a very long time to charge. What cables do I get and where do I connect it/them?
For the cost of the Ecoflow I thought the LP connection was on all units. Any HACK TO EXTEND THE EXHAUST OUTLET BY A HOSE? Are the Electronics safe outside? in wet conditions in the weather, no one want to run this with a open garage or under a camper out of the way of snow and rain... and what about the generator battery if it's to cold will it charge ? will it start? is the battery a LifePO4 ? they have to be warm at 50 degrees to take a charge?
Buy one and figure it out

Has anyone used this with the EcoFlow Delta Pro Ultra? It would seem intuitive that it would work, but i notice that the DPU is never mentioned as an option to charge

It's only a smart generator when the temperature is 33 degrees Fahrenheit or above.
The instruction manual says to run it for 3 minutes before applying any load on it if the weather is 32° or below so, It should not be used as a smart generator once the weather is freezing. It's more like a Florida smart generator than a New England one.

@@imprezzs1864 do you need the special adapter to DC charge the new Delta 2? Like you need for the Pro? Can you simultaneous charge two different units (like a delta 2 and a Pro) one with AC and the other with DC?
@Janette no it's plug and play you only need an adapter with Delta Pro and the Power kit.
