I kind of liked "some" of the transformations but most of them did read like a Ford catalogue display by some I mean attack mode and maybe the police cruiser.
There was no point to many of the transformations as it would change into something then a few seconds later change into something else. The truck change was even impossible as the passenger compartment was completely squished and contorted so any passengers would have been obliterated.
16 YEARS AGO TODAY KNIGHT RIDER (REBOOT) PREMIERED ON NBC!!!!!! This was the version I was first introduced to KNIGHT RIDER!!!!! After this I was introduced to the classic 1982 version of Knight Rider, which I preferred more!!!! K.I.T.T!!!!!!!!!
The original show had more depth when it came out in the decade of cheesy shows in the eighties. Aside from bad bad promotion and out of order episodes, this show started becoming better after episode 11/12 when Graiman, Rivai and Torres storyline ran its course but the ratings probably had gone to the shitter. They actually tried to use some variations of the stories from the original series but it was just too late. This show tried to be a Ford commercial and Transformers all in one. The standalone movie was much better and had enough Sci Fi stuff like nanotechnology repair without making it absurd. They should have kept the iPad type display in the center instead of that weird Star Wars orb. The pursuit mode was cool in the eighties but everyone has enough knowledge to know that KITT in its original form would have better drag coefficient than the "pursuit mode" where there will be wind drag with that hood ornament in the front and that spoiler in the back. The whole transforming and transformation complete was utterly pointless and very robotic. The whole truck mode wouldn't be needed in a desert environment if KITT can raise its suspension and has four wheel drive. They should have used Truck mode sparingly and lean into different iterations of the mustang. The idea of becoming an older mustang from the seventies was a cool idea. Police car mode was ok as well. I don't know why it ever turned into a Ford Flex...
Hm well the 81 Pontiac trans am was never a good car (at least regarding its performance). A form mustang is better, no matter which year of fabrication
I mean real life speaking, I would rather have the mustang as keeping it in order wouldn't be as hard as keeping a Trans am would be, I mean Pontiac doesn't even exist anymore. Also I prefer the look of the Mustang tbh, however when I think or KITT I think of the Pontiac
To be fair it is implied this K.I.T.T. is its "son" because the Knight 2000 is shown in the pilot as innactive, maybe he got severely damaged abd that is why they created Knight 3000.
@@odirmenjivar2076 Based off the fandom wiki, The 3000 was made by Wilton knight and upgraded its technology since the 2000 was new, implying maybe it was rather kept as a spare if the 2000 was, like you said, severely damaged and couldn't be recreated for some reason.
This show was great but they went way overboard with the transformations. When kitt started to turn into a truck and karr into staight up into a mech they kind of lost me.
I appreciated that they kinda stayed faithful to the original beat. 😁👍
With a techno-twist.
When Prodigy takes car of the intro. 🤭
am Anfang ja, danach haben sie es komplett versaut
This show was the reason I liked mustangs as a kid
This show is why I want a mustang today
I know exactly what you mean.
This Knight Rider show would have been on the air longer, if, Kitt didn't change shapes in order to go faster.
I’d say the bigger reason was the changing into multiple vehicles like a F150, Flex, and Van. If it was a Ford he could become it.
I kind of liked "some" of the transformations but most of them did read like a Ford catalogue display by some I mean attack mode and maybe the police cruiser.
But that happened in thr og show?

@@turbopokey To be fair, a lot of things they did are impossible, OG show included.

Please bring this show back!
Yes please
Love this version.. I don't care what anyone thinks, it's perfect like the original.
this serial was the best.. i hate directors for stop this masterpiece ;-)
I like it so much, I want a K3000
The theme to this reboot was the best thing about it. Also the chick with the incredible eyes.
Is a continuation of the original
Shame that the show didn’t keep going. It liked it
I remember making this car in GTA afew times lol
❤❤❤🎉😊
They shouldve gone for a Corvette ( C5/C6). Atleast it matched the silhouette of the original Pontiac Trans-Am.
0:29 BEST
there was a longer version of this in the very first episode

Whicked
🤷🏻♂️ "Culturekilling" , there is only one K.I.T.T. ,doesnt matter how cool the intro is...

Well, I think it's to each his own.
For example, I like them both, they're both great in my opinion.

This is way too fast.
This theme song completely blows compared to the original
The music sounds nothing to the original
Reproduction has good car but intro is TOTAL CRAP.
Not a fan of this intro, kitt looks like a transformer
and KARR becamed a Transformer in this show. lol
