Thanks for this really helpful but I have a question after you have scaled an item how do you then add additional sketches to the scaled item?

Me too, slowly working thru the videos, and some multiple times, so I can understand the flow.

I have watched many of your Workbench videos and was wondering If you would do one on the Woodworking Workbench.

It is on the list as I have had a number of requests but I have never used the workbench so will set out some time to go through it

Scaling with the second method in the other direction is also interesting.

Thanks, never knew about this tool!
I have an unrelated question. If I want to make an angled extrusion, say the left side of the sketch should be extruded 10mm and the right 20mm, with a slope in between. What is the best way to do that? I've been extruding normally that making a plane to cut the extra off, but despite calculating what angle I need for the vertical leg of the right triangle to be my 10mm, I never got it right.
In my real life example it was more like 3 and 0.6mm sides.

I'm guessing from the part that I was scaling that's what sparked your question as the top is angled? Is that the kind of result you are looking for? If you use a part design workflow then you can use a draft. This will angle a face to an angle. Actually, I think the tool exists in the part workbench as well.

@@MangoJellySolutions Not sure, I had this task for a project and never quite solved it, so I keep thinking about it from time to time.
So I'd extrude and then Draft the top face only? I'll try that now.
Can't make it work, maybe my shape is too rounded for that to work. I'll ask in FreeCAD Discord then, it's easier there with pictures :) Thank you for the suggestion!

what does it mean if a solid just won't scale? I scale it and it just stays the same, no errors that I can see
