Its not crazy at all. They get really good athletes and they have the best facilities to work and grow. They should be as good as they are. It's basically Ivy League Athletics.
I lived close to oak hill academy out in BFE Virginia many years ago when they dominated HS basketball rankings nationwide every year. This place reminds me of it. Edit: Just nowhere near as nice but I would guess it costs just as much to go there per year.
Higher than 99% of schools but still low. You’ve gotta factor in injuries killing their careers or just peaking in high school or college but not panning out. The odds of becoming a professional athlete are insanely low
It’s cool. But I couldn’t even see myself if I was rich parent sending my kids here. Kids need to see the real world and real work. These kids here for 4 years with their parents paying 90 grand prob have no jobs and think that when they get older there’ll live by a pool and shit. But I might just be hating these kids are pretty talented.
My first year there was in 7th grade and I learned so much independence and how to live on my own without my parents helping me so it’s a great experience just it’s annoying when people call us rich so just leave that part not hating just choose of words
@@DaGooneditz "Without my parents helping me"....other than paying your rent, tuition, utilities, and food..............you're right.....oh, and paying your coaches and trainers too..........YES RICH....I'm sorry if that hurt your feelings (not really).
@@perfect1150 I'd hope your parents wouldn't be making you pay rent and utilities buy all your own food if you a high schooler living at home lol, so that's obviously not what they meant and you know it. A lot of parents use their combined life savings or go into debt paying for kid's college, so it's extremely likely a lot of parents are doing that investment here instead hoping their kids get full ride athletic scholarships to the best schools they could never otherwise afford. No doubt some are rich. But zero chance they're all rich.
If your parents had money and afford the opportunity, you would go. You dont pick the family you were born into.. no need to hate on people chasing their dreams.
For a school of non athletes they sure have a lot of alumni in the NFL, NBA, MLB, pro tennis and golf tour. Not to mention a huge amount that played their sport in college.
Img dominates every sport it’s crazy
Maybe bc they pay 80k a year and recruit 😂
I wonder why 🤔

Had an opportunity to be apart of the img family. Campus is beautiful man! Ill always remember it
Man I’m happy for these young dudes living out there dreams it’s a lot of people who will never get the IMG academy experience in high school 👍🏾
This school has some big bucks flowing into it. Beautiful campus.
Is the second basemen Jax from the bullpen training? Because he does some really cool flashy flips on the double plays
No
Yo were the twin brothers from whistle’s no days off video in this video? One of the kids looked really familiar.
I'm not a hater shoutout to their families for being able to provide such an amazing experience for their children but DAMN 90k a year to go here.
