@@JoshHitti ?? He's 5'8", in Asia that's normal, to be a starting pitcher in the US, D1, MLB, it's a different world, he may make a good 2nd baseman possibly, skip the pitching, Korea is also a great place to play.
@@TimTheMusicMan he throws 97mph, 95-98 is elite for a teen. This kid can pull 500 lbs on a hex, his speed and strength alone are leagues above most highschool baseball players. He’s also primarily an infielder. Haters exist no matter what these kids are capable of - you can’t make a blanket statement until you see his performance in college.
@@JoshHitti Josh, just b/c someone has an informed opinion doesn't mean 'hate', other than politicians who are ruining our country, I have no hate, it's an opinion but my opinion is full of facts and experience. First throwing 97 means nothing, pitching has nothing to do with speed, its an art, there is placement, control, temperament, knowledge etc. involved, there are 1,000's of pitchers who can throw fast, it means very little, if someone went to the mound with a 95+ fastball, against real hitters, he would be knocked out in the 1st inning, 2nd, saying someone throws 97 means what ? for a few warmup pitches indoors with no batter and 20k people not watching, or throwing 97 for 7 innings ? I doubt that. Also it's like saying you went to the football field and kicked a 40 year field goal 10 times out of 12, ok, that's fine, now kick the same field goal with giants coming after you with 50k watching, its another world, practice vs in game, 2 different worlds, I had a natural arm and could hit 86-88 when I was like 15/16 and that was with nothing, just a mit and a local field, no facility, no massage, no personal trainer, no chiropractor, it was pure ability. So saying '97' means very little, I personally think he may have a good chance at 2nd base, there really isn't any pitcher smaller than 6'1 anymore, maybe one or two, and if he tries to play the field, he's got to hit, that is another world to conquer, HS vs. D1 is like a HS football team taking on Tom Brady, these are dreams, and that's fine, I have them every day, haha.. best..
